Evel Knievel, Cam Sinclair, motorcycle daredevils

The Great Evel Knievel
One is the founder of this daredevil act. The other who is from a much younger generation is the perfectionist.
Meet Evel Knievel and Cam Sinclair.
What do they have in common?
Both like to do what most of us wouldn’t dare to do or even think about it – do a death defying act with a high powered motorcycle… The combination of man and machine always mesmerize the crowd!!
The late Evel Knievel will ever remain as an American icon and a legendary motorcycle daredevil..

Robert Craig Knievel (October 17, 1938November 30, 2007), better known as the Evel Knievel, was an American motorcycle daredevil, an entertainer famous in the United States and elsewhere between the late 1960s and early 1980s. Knievel's nationally televised motorcycle jumps, including his 1974 attempt to jump Snake River Canyon at Twin Falls, Idaho, represent four of the twenty most-watched ABC's Wide World of Sports events to date. His achievements and failures, including his record 433 broken bones, earned him several entries in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Knievel died in Clearwater, Florida on November 30, 2007, aged 69. He had been suffering from diabetes and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis for many years. Rest in Peace Sir… You are truly an American Hero..

Whereas Cam Sinclair – a young Australian, is destined to continue Evel Knievel legacy.

Here Cam Sinclair performs a double back flip on his 125kg, 250cc dirt bike, before falling almost six stories into the Sydney Harbour below on December 1, 2008 in Sydney, Australia. Sinlcair was the FIRST Australian to attempt the trick and the THIRD person in the world.
