When Rihanna said, i'm gonna set the stage ON FIRE!!! It really happened. The stage was on fire when Rihanna ended her gig at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, USA on 8 July 2011.
The emergency forced Rihanna to prematurely end her show after a blaze broke out directly above the stage.
It’s thought the cause of the fire was a row of lights.
The arena was evacuated and the fire brigade was called but the blaze was extinguished before they arrived.
Some fans have already asked for refunds, but it’s more likely that Rihanna will return at the next available date to do the show from scratch, reports MTV.
Afterwards she tweeted her fans: “DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!!
