OSLO, Norway (AP, 16 April 2012) — The right-wing fanatic Norweigan lunatic and madman who confessed to killing 77 people in a bomb-and-shooting massacre went on trial in Norway's capital Monday, 16 April 2012, defiantly and madly rejecting the authority of the court.

Anders Behring Breivik, the Norweigan Fuck Guy, who already has a place in the bottom pits of Hell, dressed in a dark suit, even smiled as a guard removed his handcuffs in the crowded court room.

The 33-year-old sucker and lunatic then flashed a closed-fist salute, before shaking hands with prosecutors and court officials.

"I don't recognize Norwegian courts because you get your mandate from the Norwegian political parties who support multiculturalism," Breivik said in his first comments to the court.

Breivik also said he doesn't recognize the authority of Judge Wenche Elisabeth Arntzen, because he said she is friends with the sister of former Norwegian Prime Minister and Labor Party leader Gro Harlem Brundtland.

The anti-Muslim militant described himself as a writer, currently working from prison, when asked by the judge for his employment status.

After opening statements, the crazy Breivik is set to testify for five days, explaining why he set off a bomb in downtown Oslo, killing eight, and then shot to death 69 people, mostly teenagers, at a Labor Party youth camp on Utoya island, outside the Norwegian capital on July 22, 2011.

Breivik has admitted to the attacks, claiming they were necessary to protect Norway from being taken over by Muslims, but has rejected criminal guilt. He claims he targeted the government headquarters in Oslo and the youth camp to strike against the left-leaning political forces he blames for allowing immigration in Norway.

Breivik remained stone-faced and motionless as prosecutor Inga Bejer Engh read his indictment on terror and premeditated murder charges, including descriptions of how each victim died.

The key issue to be resolved during the 10-week trial is the state of Breivik's mental health, which will decide whether he is sent to prison or to psychiatric care.

If deemed mentally competent, he would face a maximum prison sentence of 21 years or an alternate custody arrangement under which the sentence is prolonged for as long as an inmate is deemed a danger to society.

Police sealed off the streets around the court building, where journalists, survivors and relatives of victims watched the proceedings in a 200-seat courtroom built specifically for the trial.

Thick glass partitions were put up to separate the defendant from victims and their families, many of whom are worried that Breivik will use the trial to promote his extremist political ideology. In a manifesto he published online before the attacks, Breivik wrote that "patriotic resistance fighters" should use trials "as a platform to further our cause."

Norway's NRK television will broadcast parts of the trial, but it is not allowed to show Breivik's testimony.

Breivik told investigators he is a resistance fighter in a far-right militant group modeled on the Knights Templar medieval crusaders, but police have found no trace of the organization and say he acted alone.

Anxious to prove he is not insane, he has called right-wing extremists and radical Islamists to testify during the trial, to show that there are others who share his view of clashing civilizations.

Breivik surrendered to police 1 hour and 20 minutes after he arrived on Utoya. The police response was slowed by a series of mishaps, including the lack of an operating police helicopter and the breakdown of an overloaded boat carrying a commando team to the island.

Eton student, Horatio Chapple, killed by polar bear in Arctic tent

This is tragic and sad.

A 17 year old Eton student was killed by a polar bear while on an adventure trip in Arctic tent, the Daily Mail UK reported on 6th August 2011.

Horatio Chapple had been camping on remote glacier in a wildlife trip when he was attacked while sleeping in his tent on Friday 5th August 2011.

Horatio was on a £4,000 adventure holiday on a remote glacier near the Arctic Circle and was part of 80-strong group of mainly 16-to-23-year-olds on a five-week British Schools Exploring Society (BSES) trip in the Norwegian Arctic archipelago of Svalbard.

He died after suffering terrible injuries to the head and upper body in the early-morning attack.

Four other members of the party were badly hurt as the animal rampaged around the campsite hunting for food. It was eventually shot dead.

A trip-wire system which triggers a charge to scare away polar bears failed to activate, the father of one of the survivors said.

The Bear was punched away by boys lying next to Horatio.

Days before the tragic attack, the group was 'delighted' at seeing a polar bear in the Artic wilderness.

Four other victims are in critical condition at nearby hospital after being airlifted by Norwegian Emergency Medical Services.

The deadly bear was 'looking for food' in the areas which have history of attacks, say local residents.

The bear was later shot dead with rifle in the students' desperate bid for survival.

How tragic.

Why there was no safety precautions taken?

For the record Eaton is a very prestigious school in the world but they failed in protecting the lives of their students.

They knew that the area is a habitat for Polar Bear, a natural predator, and yet no effective and serious safety measures were taken.

I am a Malaysian living far away in Malaysia and i know Horatio because my elder brother used to stay with one Mrs Kay Johnson family in UK while my brother was still studying at Felsted School and later to the University of Sheffield in the late 80s and early 90s.

Horatio was the grandson of Mrs Kay Johnson. He aspired to be a doctor. Poor soul.

To ensure precious lives are not lost in the event of outings like this, questions need to be asked. Why not install a high quality safety perimeter fence around that camps in the Artic? Why not equip themselves with ultra effective trip-wire, adequate firearms and ammunitions?

If they are asleep at night, why not ask someone to be on the look out or guards on shift to ensure 24 hours surveillance. This is always done by the military and armed forces around the world. If you are in hostile territory, better ask someone to be on alert by shift.

Fearsome: An adult polar bear is one of few species that will actively hunt humans.

Scientists say there are 22,000 to 27,000 polar bears in the world, 60 per cent of them in Canada. They also live in Alaska, Russia, Greenland and Norway.

The species - Ursus maritimus - is now considered 'vulnerable', as the total number of polar bears has fallen to 25,000. However, hunting restrictions have helped the population to stabilise.

The animal is a formidable swimmer, and can swim up to 100 miles in one go through the icy waters of the Arctic.

Polar bears are well adapted for surviving their hostile, barren environment.

Their double layer of fur and four-inch thick layer of fat means they can live in temperatures of minus 50c.

During the warmer seasons, the bears mate and give birth as they wait for the ice to form, usually in October.

Double tragedy in Norway

Double tragedy in Norway. 1st tragedy, a mad man by the name of Anders Behring Breivik went beserk and killed 76 innocent people including women and children on Friday, 22 July 2011, Europe's worst mass killer since world war 2.

2nd tragedy, despite commiting the worst killing by a single person in history, Anders Behring Breivik faces only 21 years imprisonment. !!

This means the legal system in Norway is among the worst in the world. In many countries including Malaysia, Iran and China, if you murder even 1 person, you will be sent to hell via the gallow or shot to death.

But in Norway, you can kill 100 or 300 people and after serving times in prison, you are a free man.

The Norwegian police is also among the worst in the world for they were very slow in reaching the island of Utoeya where Anders murdered most of his victims attending a youth party.

For the record, Anders spent 1 hour and 30 minutes killing people on the island before police finally arrived.

In USA or Malaysia, police and the SWAT team can reach the crime site wihin 10 to 15 minutes.

Truly Double tragedy in Norway. No Way Norway and No Hope Norway.
