Isteri boleh berpoligami di utara India.

Sekadar gambar hiasan

Bayangkan seorang isteri melayani 2 suami.

Hidup Malaysia.. Long Live Malaysia.

As reported by the Press Trust of India, Monday 14th February 2011, Kuala Lumpur.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has a huge fan following in Malaysia and the adoration was visible for all when he landed here to shoot his much awaited film 'Don 2' with Priyanka Chopra.

The two actors were mobbed at the Kuala Lumpur international airport by fans who pushed and shoved to get an autograph of their idols.

The 45-year-old actor and Priyanka did not disappoint them and signed autographs, posed for pictures, before being escorted to their vehicle.

The Bollywood duo, accompanied by a 60-member crew are here to shoot the sequel to their hit 2006 thriller and will begin shooting in the historical city of Malacca, about two hours from here.

Just like the original, 'Don 2' will be filmed on locations in Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and Khan will be in the country for about a month.

Though Malaysia has a large ethnic Indian population, most of the actor's fans are Malays who love watching Hindi language films and Khan was awarded the title 'Datuk' by the Malaysian government three years ago.

The original movie - "DON : The Chase Begins Again", was shot 80 % in Malaysia, with the rest in Paris and India.

‘Dead’ woman comes alive during funeral before died again!!!

An example of the dead, who suddenly become alive again!!!

In India, a woman who was pronounced dead by doctors came alive during her funeral procession – two days later, before died again.

She reportedly stirred and stood up while family members were burning firecrackers in accordance with local custom in the small Inidan village of Vepachettu in Allipuram, about 50km from Hyderabad, India, Tamil Nesan reported.

On Wednesday, Pinnitla Varalakshmi, 35, a mother of two, had been admitted to the King George’s Hospital after she collapsed at her house while attending to her daily chores.

Doctors pronounced her dead on arrival and issued a death certificate.

While her “body” was being carried in a funeral procession on Friday, mourners saw her waking up, sending shivers down their spine.

A relative, Nageswara Rao, said ambulance staff noticed her pulse and took her to a private hospital.

She was later pronounced dead again.

Raghava Prasad, a cardiologist with Apollo Hospitals in India, said Varalakshmi’s was rare case though there were reports of such similar cases from Australia. “No doctor generally declares a person dead without confirming the checklist like movement of pupils, heart beat and pulse. But a heart could revive due to external shock, like the ambulance hitting a ditch,” he observed.

Although a fit case for probe, the police said there was no complaint by the family of the lady. Sources in the state health ministry said the authorities of the King George Hospital were asked to file an explanation on the incident, as the kin of Varalakshmi alleged she was wrongly diagnosed dead by the hospital, while there was enough time to save her.

The hospital doctors refused to comment.

Sabah Weightlifter Aricco Jumitih beats the odds for surprise gold and became Commonwealth Champion!!!

Arrico Jumitih, the 20 year old Dusun strongman from Kampung Mansiang, Menggatal, en route to winning the gold medal in the 62 kg weightlifting category athe the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, 5th October, 2010.

Aricco or fondly known as ADI, with fellow Malaysian, 2nd placed Naharudin Mahayudin. Malaysia completed a 1-2 finish in the 62 kg category. Congrats Malaysia.

Proud family: Aricco's mum, Emily Sabin (left) showing a news report about Aricco’s success to her daughter Agnes, who is holding Sheryn Britny, and her son-in-law Venus Lairing at their house in Kg Mansiang, Menggatal, Sabah, Malaysia.

WEIGHTLIFTER Aricco Jumitih’s mother Emily Sabin, 52 years old, drove a schoolbus to support the family of six sibling after her husband passed away four years ago.

It has been a hard life but Emily can breathe a little easy now after his son beat the odds to grab the second gold medal for Malaysia in the Delhi Games on 5th October, 2010.

The medal will be worth RM80,000 under the National Sports Council (NSC) incentive scheme.

When met by reporters at her house in a village called Mansiang in Menggatal, Emily said she did not expect her son to win the gold medal.

"Aricco called me at 11 pm last nite and joked that he was only placed 6th" said Emily.

Aricco, who hails from Mengattal, a small town near Kota Kinabalu, and never even competed at the SEA Games level before, surprised even himself in chalking up personal best efforts en route to winning the men’s 62kg competition at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

"We are very happy but at the same time, sad. This because his late father (who died in 2006) could not witness this historic event".

"We came from a poor family.. we are not rich. When my husband passed away in 2006, i took over his former job as bus driver to support the family" said Emily.

Luck smiled on 20-year-old, the youngest son of the family, after favourite Dimitris Minasidis appeared to be struggling with a hip injury and performed below expectations.

The Cypriot only managed a total of 252kg for ninth place.

Aricco lifted personal best in both the snatch (120kg) and in clean and jerk (156kg) to secure an unexpected gold for Malaysia with a total of 276kg.

There were more cheers with 26-year-old Naharudin Mahayudin, who finished out of the medals in the previous Games in Melbourne in 2006, taking silver for Malaysia with a total of 275kg. Sri Lankan Anton Sudesh won the bronze on 272kg.

On Monday 4th October 2010, Amirul Hamizan Ibrahim had given Malaysia a perfect start on the first day of official Games competitions by defending the men’s 56kg title.

Amirul’s triumph was expected but not for Aricco, who was only looking for a medal of sorts in his Games debut.

The Sabahan, who only joined the national senior squad two years ago, was virtually speechless when met after the prize giving ceremony but was clear on one thing.

He plans to use the reward from the NSC to help his mother buy a bigger house in his hometown.

“My mother still works for a living, taking up odd-jobs too. Maybe, I will give her the money to my mother to help her get a better house. I also want to keep a bit to go into small business with my brother,” said Aricco.

“I did not expect this today. I have never even managed a total of more than 273kg previously. I guess it’s also my luck that I claimed the gold. Naharudin also did well.”

Well Congrats Emily and Aricco, we Sabahans and Malaysians are proud of you.

Husband made love with wife's dead body!!

It happened in Chennai, India.

Bernama reports that in a ghastly incident, a wayward husband killed his breadwinner wife of 10 years for refusing to have sex with him and is then alleged to have had intercourse with the dead body.

The murder happened in Poonamellee, about 15km from this southern Indian city, when the jobless 34-year-old accused, Subash Krishnan returned home drunk last Thursday at about 1.30pm and demanded sex from his wife.

The victim, Shanti, 28, who supports the family by selling fruit juice on a pushcart, chided her husband for frequently demanding sex and failing to help out the family financially.

Infuriated by the rejection, the intoxicated husband allegedly assaulted Shanti and when she fell down and became unconscious, strangled her using a skipping rope.

“The accused admitted to both the crimes and the investigation confirms he had sex after murdering her.

“We are still waiting for the postmortem report and will know what exactly happened. He is in jail now,” Inspector N. Velavan of Poonamalle police station told Bernama Sunday.

The man is alleged to have had sex with the wife’s dead body and even inflicted injuries by biting her.

Velavan said one of the accused children discovered their mother’s dead body after returning from school and informed his uncle who called in the police.

The couple have two boys aged seven and 10.

Crazy isn't it?

Now, pity the children, who is going to take care of them?? They lost their mum and also their dad because he is going to prison for a long time for this crime...

SAINA NEHWAL, INDIA'S NEW BADMINTON SUPERSTAR, SAINA & SANIA

Saina Nehwal is now the top 3 female badminton player in the world. She used to occupy the world no. 1 ranking too. Congrats Saina

In the 2010, Commonwealth Games in her home country in New Delhi, India, Saina beat Malaysia's top player - Wong Mew Choo in the mixed team event. However Malaysia went on to win the gold courtesy of their men's world no. 1 Lee Chong Wei, men doubles' world no. 1 Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong and also the mixed doubles pair of Boon Heong and Wong Pei Ty.

In the individual event, Saina Nehwal created history by blanking her opponent from Northern Ireland, Caroline Black 21-0, 21-2.

MEET - SAINA NEHWAL (FUTURE OLYMPICS, ALL ENGLAND, WORLD CHAMPION, WORLD NO 1 ???)

INDIA'S 3 BADMINTON GREATS...
SYED MODI (1982 COMMONWEALTH CHAMPION)

PULLELA GOPICHAND (2001 ALL ENGLAND CHAMPION)

PRAKASH PADUKONE (1980 ALL ENGLAND CHAMPION)

Being a Malaysian, I am of course a hardcore badminton supporter of Malaysia.

However i am tempted to blog about Saina Nehwal - a badminton player from India.

To start with, Badminton may not be a popular sport in India. India itself is not a badminton powerhouse as compared to China, Indonesia, Malaysia & Denmark.

However, India had their own badminton greats - notably 3 persons.

The late Syed Modi, the 1982 Commonwealth Games champion, 1980 All England champion Prakash Padukone and very recently Pullela Gopichand who captured the 2001 All England crown, but the list STOP there. There are no new notabale badminton players from India.

But 7 years after Pullela Gopichand's historic All England crown, India has once again produce a rising badminton superstar - a fresh hope, a new phenomenon, an excitement of the badminton world.

SAINA NEHWAL - INDIA'S RISING BADMINTON STAR

The name is Saina Nehwal - hardly rings any bells right?

Sania Mirza - India's HOT tennis beauty

Instead Sania Mirza (India's hot and beautiful tennis superstar) is currently ringing the bell as India's most popular sportswoman and perhaps among the sexiest in the Tennis world too..!!

However, Saina Nehwal, grabbed India's cricket crazy media attention in the Beijing Olympics last August when she became the first ever Indian shuttler to reach the quarter-finals at the Olympics.

A month after the Olympics, the 18 year old girl from Haryana went on to win the Taiwan Open and reached the semi-finals of the China Masters Super Series and the quarter-finals of the Hong Kong Open which helped her to a career high World No 10 ranking.

Another significant breakthrough was achieved when she became the FIRST Indian player to win a world junior crown in Pune in November, further cementing her potential as one of the players to watch out in the future.

In the ongoing Badminton World Super Series Master Final in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, Saina, coached by none other than Pullela Gopichand himself, reached the Semi Final after defeating Pi Hong Yan of France and local hero Wong Mew Choo of Malaysia.

In the semi final match, Saina fought bravely, gamely, steadfastly, gigantically and heroically against her much fancied opponent - Hong Kong's Wang Chen, winning the first set 21-15. However she eventually lost the 2 remaining sets, 14-21, 16-21.

KEEP IT ON SAINA NEHWAL!!! ROAR LIKE A TIGER !!! TERUSKAN MENGAUM!!!
