All a child needs is love and affection

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the one I have. I was brought up in an average family. Although I never had many luxuries in life, I had all the basic necessities for survival.

Most people would say I am lucky compared with many other people. I never demanded any material things from my parents. All I asked for was love, respect and some self-sacrifice for the betterment of the next generation.

Instead, I would come back to incessant insults of my stupidity, psychological abuse and discouragement in life. My mother left my father and my stepmother is the same as my father. As they say, “birds of a feather, flock together”.

Now, I am a successful engineer with my own happy family and all the material things I need and want. I cannot be bothered to go back and visit, even though they live less than 10 minutes’ drive away.

I know there are irresponsible people who abandon their loving parents and these people are despicable. More often than not, I have seen that most old folks who have been abandoned have another side to the story.

Irresponsible men who abandoned the family and gambled their salaries away, and parents who abused their children, either physically, emotionally or mentally.

Let this be a warning to all parents. Do not think that providing a roof, food, clothing, mobile phone and a Playstation is enough. Sometimes, all a child needs is some love and attention even though their physical life is lacking.

A child will always forget that he was once hungry but will never forget that he never had a sweet childhood and love from his parents.

Now, I swear to my child that no matter how tired I am, I will always help with his lessons, play with him, love him, encourage him to be the best that he can be in life, and help him to the extent that I can afford to.

I swear to be a good father to my son, the kind of father that I never had. I will never force him or remind him to take care of me when I am old and whithered.

My child owes me nothing. He did not ask to be born into this world as my child. The burden shall never be on my child.

To all parents out there, it is time you realise this. Your child is not your insurance policy. It is your responsibility.

If my child takes me in when I am old, I would be grateful. Maybe then, I would have done something right in this world before I leave.

Jari jemari kecil itu sepatutnya menjadi anak ke 20 pasangan Duggard, malangnya Jubilee Shalom Duggar meninggal dunia dalam kandungan ibunya ketika berusia 19 minggu.

Michelle sebenarnya amat terkenal di Amerika Syarikat kerana mempunyai 19 anak. Jubilee sepatutnya anaknya yang ke 20.

Miracle baby in China who survives the worst train crash in China

A Miracle has happened in China.

A toddler was found alive in the rubbles of China worst train crash in recent times.

The toddler was rescued about 21 hours after the crash involving two high-speed trains in eastern China that killed at least 35 people including 2 foreign nationals and injured more than 200 others.



Xinhua News Agency said the unconscious child was found early Sunday evening, 24th July 2011 while rescuers were clearing one of the train cars just as the cleanup efforts were almost completed.

China Central Television first reported that the toddler was a boy, but later said a 4-year-old girl.

However, it is not immediately known wether the parents of the toddler were among the passengers of the ill-fated train.



The crash happened on Satuday evening, 23rd July 2011 when a bullet train traveling south from the Zhejiang provincial capital of Hangzhou to Wenzhou city, suddenly lost power after being struck by lightning.

The train then stopped in the track and shortly after was hit from behind by another bullet train.

The first four cars of the moving train fell about 65 to 100 feet (20 to 30 meters) off the viaduct onto the ground below.

One carriage ended up in a vertical position, leaning against the viaduct.

State broadcaster CCTV said there were more than 900 passengers on the train that stalled, and more than 500 passengers on the train that hit it.

As a result of this crash, 3 high-ranking railway officials were fired and would be subject to investigation and prosecution.

They were Long Jing, head of the Shanghai Railway Bureau; Li Jia, head of the Shanghai railway bureau's committee of the Communist Party of China; and deputy chief of the bureau, He Shengli.

It was the first derailment on China's high-speed rail network since the country launched bullet trains with a top speed of 155 miles (250 kilometers) per hour in 2007.

It was also China's worst train accident since April 2008, when a train traveling from Beijing to the eastern coastal city of Qingdao derailed and crashed into another train, leaving 72 dead and another 416 injured.

This latest incident unravelled yet another mistakes, flaws and weaknesses in China's huge transportation system. Why no signals or communications were relayed to the second train to warn about the danger ahead. Were there any steps taken to avoid the deadly collision?

If the first train communications system malfunctioned as a result of the loss of power, then why not just use mobile phones to notify the Train Station Headquarters about the grave and dangerous situation so that the second train will stop in time before hitting the stalled train?

If this crash happend, then it is possible that the same incidents could happen in China in the future.

16 pounds baby boy, the heaviest newborn in the world!!!

He has 10 little fingers and 10 little toes, but litle JaMichael is anything but small.

A woman from Texas, USA has given birth to a baby boy who weighed in at more than 16 pounds or 7.3 kg, more than double the average weight of a newborn.

Baby JaMichael, nicknamed Moose, is the heaviest baby to be born at Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview, USA and reportedly the largest newborn in the Lone Star State and maybe the heaviest newborn baby in the entire world.

“Both his mother, Janet Johnson and father, Michael Brown are large people, and she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which contributed to the baby’s size”, explained Dr. John Kirk, who delivered JaMichael.

According to the Guinness World Records , Ann Bates of Canada gave birth to the biggest newborn, in 1879, when her baby weighed in at a whopping 23 pounds, 12 ounces.

But that was 132 years ago.

Can you please teach me on the art of Love Making??

Picture this. You are a counsellor, handling teenagers daily problems. Then one fine day, suddenly a teenage girl asks you for sex guidance??

That exactly happened to a female counsellor at a youth service centre in Singapore.

She was asked questions on "how to make love" by a supposedly naive, innocent and of course still virgin 15 year old girl.



Media reported that the 15-year-old girl openly asked the counsellor to teach her about the proper way of having sex or the art of love making, so that she could sleep with her boyfriend.

The China Press daily said the female counsellor who is also the youth service centre director in Singapore said she was shocked upon receiving a letter written by the girl asking for advice on how to seduce her boyfriend.



“In the letter, she said all her friends in school have had the experience but not her, so she wanted to know how to ask her boyfriend for sex,” the counsellor said. The daily also quoted her as saying that most people who came for counselling on sex-related matters were boys and girls aged 13 and 14.

“Most of them already had experience making out and groping,” she said.



Singapore Parents Programme Society chief Wang Jing Yuan said a number of boys who had had sex told him that it was their young girlfriends who initiated and asked for it.

Girls - there is only one thing that you need to adhere here. If you ever get pregnant - do not, i repeat, do not kill or dump or throw away your baby. There are always millions of people out there who are more than willing or 1,000,000% willing to adopt and take care that baby. Very sad cases of babies being murdered, killed, dismemberd, mutilated or thrown away and eaten by animals by their heartless mothers, are widely reported almost daily, worldwide.

Babies are human beings too, just like us. They can feel the pain and sufferings. They need love and affections, just like you and me. They don't want pain, sufferings and misery, just like you and me. Please stop babies killings and babies dumpings. God Bless.
