'World's largest paedophile ring' uncovered - 16th March 2011

This is shocking.

Despite continous all out efforts by the authorities around the world including the FBI, Interpol and Scotland yard to eradicate paedophilia syndicates and saving innocent young boys worldwide, it still happens.

On 16th March 2011, the BBC reported that international police led by a UK team managed to shut down the largest internet paedophile ring ever discovered after 3 years of painstaking investigations.

The global forum boylover.net had 70,000 followers at its height, leading to 4,000 intelligence reports being sent to police across 30 countries.

The operation has so far identified 670 suspects and 230 abused children.

Detectives say 184 people have been arrested - 121 of them were in the UK. Some 60 children have been protected in the UK.

The three-year investigation, Operation Rescue, was led by investigators from the UK's Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop).

Speaking at a news conference at The Hague in the Netherlands 16th March 2011, investigators said the network hid behind a legal online forum which operated out of the country - but its members came from around the world.

Along with the Netherlands and the UK, suspects have been identified in Australia, Italy, Canada, New Zealand and Thailand.

The members of the network went into a private channel, boylover.net, and then used its secret systems to share films and images of abused children, said Rob Wainwright, director of European police agency Europol.

However, child abuse investigators, including a team from Ceop, had already infiltrated the network and were posing as paedophiles to gather intelligence.

The suspects are ordinary people with ordinary jobs and are very unusual suspects. In short they are unsuspecting suspects!!

In the UK, the 240 suspects even include police officers, teachers and a karate teacher.

One of the suspects in the UK is a woman.

The latest arrest was in Northamptonshire.

To date, 33 have been convicted, including John McMurdo, a scout leader from Plymouth.

Another forum user was Stephen Palmer, 54, of Birkenhead, who shared abuse images with contacts in the United States.

A third man, 46-year-old Colin Hoey Brown of Bromsgrove, was jailed for making and distributing almost 1,000 images.

Well... Bravo to the authority for this success..

If you want to earn more money than the Prime Minister, then work in the British public sector

British Prime Minister David Cameron currently earns £142,500

Most public sector employees in the world, earn less than what the head of Governments earn in their monthly or annual paycheck.

This depends on the economy and Gross Domestic Product of the nations.

For example, Singapore Prime Minister as well as the cabinet minister, earn millions in their monthly salaries and the civil servants in Singapore may not earn more than the cabinet ministers.

However in Britain, more than 9,000 public sector employees are reportedly earning a higher wage than the British Prime Minister himself, who has previously questioned pay levels in top jobs.

The British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC reported today 20th September 2010 that new research conducted for BBC Panorama found that there were more than 38,000 public employees earning above £100,000 and 1,000 people on more than £200,000 in Britain.

David Cameron took a 5% pay cut when he took office and earns £142,500.

Details from 2,400 public bodies puts the number of high earners far above previous estimates.

The salary details come as the government warns that public spending needs to be drastically curbed.

The government has already revealed that pay for the top 5% of earners in the public sector has risen by 51% in the past 10 years.

The British Prime Minister and his cabinet took the 5% pay cut when they formed the government at a time of record deficits and a sluggish economy.

In collaboration with the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, Panorama requested pay details from most of the UK's publicly funded organisations, including local authorities, schools, universities, the BBC, the NHS and the government agencies known as quangos.

Across the UK, the NHS has the highest number of high earners, with more than 26,000 people on more than £100,000.

Of those, nearly 6,500 earn more than Mr Cameron. The top NHS earner is a GP on at least £475,000 and seven out of the top 10 in the NHS are GPs.

The facts are :

38,045 earn over £100,000

1,000 earn over £200,000

9,187 earn more than PM

10 GPs earn over £300,000

1 GP in Hillingdon PCT earns £475,000

17 teachers earn more than PM

331 BBC managers earn more than £100,000

362 local council employees earn more than PM

The database, compiled from both public records and freedom of information requests, excludes some major publicly owned corporations, including Royal Mail, Network Rail and Channel 4 because they operate largely as commercial concerns.

The BBC's salaries were included because the BBC is funded by the £145.50 licence fee paid by UK households. There are 331 managers at the BBC earning more than £100,000.

Lucy Adams, the head of BBC People, said the corporation needs to compete with the private sector for top talent in the media and entertainment industries. She said the BBC is dealing with the issue of executive pay.

She added that Director General Mark Thompson - who for the year 2009/10 received a total remuneration of £838,000 including base pay of £668,000 and £7,000 in benefits in addition to a £163,000 pension payment - and other senior managers at the BBC had taken pay cuts: "We have given up, all the executives have given up two months' pay. We have had a pay freeze for the next four years."

Well - this is another reason why footballers around the globe, are dying to play in the English Premier Leauge. Certain footballers like Manchester United's Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand and also Frank Lampard and John Terry earn at least £80,000 a week.

That is a hell of a money.. The are getting paid handsomely doing what they like most - playing football..!!

BBC reporter attacked by 2 drunken idiots but fought back!!!

The brave BBC reporter - Paresh Patel.

On 11 September 2009, British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, Reporter Paresh Patel had been preparing a report in Sackville Gardens, Central Manchester, United Kingdom, when suddenly 2 drunken youths started to harras him.

Mr Patel had been followed for half an hour through Manchester city centre by these two idiots, who subjected him to a barrage of abuse as he attempted to set up a live broadcast with his cameraman Steve Capstick.

Maybe these 2 idiots did not like Asian people or they were complete idiots, not knowing what else to do after consuming alcohols - or they were just amateurish beer drinkers - got flatten up by mere 8 pints of Budweiser...!!!

Hey... if these 2 youths do that in Tamparuli, Sabah, Malaysia, they will surely end up without their heads!!!!

Well, during the incident, Mr Capstcik and a few bystanders tried to defuse the situation but with no avail.

But what these 2 drunken idiots didn't realise was that Mr Patel has a black belt in Karate, and when he was finally pushed too far the suited reporter lashed out in kung-fu style.

He floored one of the unsuspecting thugs with a kick to the groin followed by a lightning-quick punch in the face.

The dazed victim can then be seen in CCTV footage scrambling to his feet just as police arrive to arrest the man as Mr Patel, dubbed the 'BBC Bruiser', calmly walks away.

Judge David Hernandez of the Manchester Magistrates' Court sentenced John Nugent, 22 to a 18 month community order with supervision, and David McKenna, 27 - a community order for 18 months with supervision and 14 hours unpaid work at Manchester Crown Court.

At the sentencing of the pair, Judge Hernandez said: 'He defended himself, he delivered a blow. I say good for Mr Patel.

Jodie Anderson, 26, the female who threw the drink over Mr Patel, had previously pleaded guilty to assaulting Mr Patel and was given a suspended six-week prison sentence and ordered to pay him £50 compensation.

In a victim impact statement read to the court, Mr Patel said: 'I am shocked and upset by what has happened. I was trying to go about my business in a peaceful way.'

A spokesperson for the BBC said they were not commenting on the matter as it was a case for the courts.
