Kenyan woman arrested in Sabah, Malaysia for drug trafficking, 13th September 2011

Congrats to the alert Malaysian Custom authority.

I flew on a Royal Brunei Flight BI 855 on Tuesday, 13th September 2011, departing Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei at 6.20 pm and arriving in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, about 40 minutes later.

Suddenly i could see quite a lot of presence of the Royal Customs officers at the exit of the Kota Kinabalu international airport.

I myself had my baggages checked through a scanning machine.

This was quite unusual for me because this rigorous checkings rarely happened to me.

Of course, i was let go because i didn't bring anything that was against the law.

But reading the news today, now i knew why they checked almost every passengers arriving from Brunei that day.

About 11 hours before my flight, a Kenyan woman travelling from Bandar Seri Begawan was caught with a large quantity of drugs.

Newsreports said the Kenyan woman tried to smuggle in about 5 kg of syabu drugs worth about RM 1.3 million.

She was promptly arrested on the spot at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA), on Tuesday, 13 September 2011.

Customs Deputy Director (Enforcement and Compliance), Hamzah Sundang, said the seizure was the biggest this year in Sabah.

The 31-year-old suspect who arrived here from Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam at 8.30am is believed to be a drug mule linked to an international drug trafficking syndicate.

Investigations revealed that she left Ethiopia on Sept. 5 and passed through Dubai before getting to Bandar Seri Begawan on Sept. 12 and KKIA the next day.

"The arrest of the suspect, a student of the Kenya Institute of Management, was made after our officers detected suspicious objects inside the two bags that went through our scanning machine at KKIA.

"Upon checking, our officers discovered the two bags had been modified with two big plastic packets containing the syabu which had been wrapped in aluminum foils found hidden in the bottom of one big bag covered by small wooden planks.

"Another two big plastic packets were found on the wall of the backpack which had been sewn and covered by layers of plastic," he told a press conference at Wisma Kastam, on Wednesday, 14th September 2011.

Hamzah said the Customs officers also seized various foreign currencies, namely, 36,000 Francs, B$87 (RM217.50), USD900 (RM2,700) and Kenyan currency amounting to 1,800 Banki Kuuga (RM58.53) during the inspection.

The suspect, who was also a part-time salesgirl, was remanded for a week to facilitate investigation under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 which provides for the death penalty.

On July 31, 2011, the same department confiscated 5.8kg of Ketamine worth about RM600,000 and arrested a man from the peninsula.

Ranking FIFA setengah negara miskin Afrika, lebih baik berbanding Malaysia

Sedih dan sebak kita melihat laporan media mengenai bencana kebuluran yang melanda Somalia, sebuah Negara miskin di Afrika.

Bencana itu selain perang yang tiada kesudahan turut membawa kesan dan impak langsung ke atas pembangunan sukan di Somalia.

Sebagai contoh, mengikut ranking terkini Persekutuan Bolasepak Antarabangsa FIFA, sehingga Julai 2011, ranking antarabangsa Somalia ialah 191 daripada 203 pasukan seluruh dunia.

Sebagai perbandingan, Negara kita Malaysia yang maju, aman dan makmur kini di tangga ke 146 daripada 203 pasukan seluruh dunia.

Malaysia di belakang Barbados (ranking 145) dan diatas Bangladesh (ranking 147).

Namun beberapa lagi Negara miskin di Afrika berada di ranking lebih baik berbanding Malaysia meskipun Negara itu sering dilanda pelbagai musibah seperti perang, konflik ekonomi, social dan politik serta juga kebuluran dan dilanda penyakit.

Negara dimaksudkan ialah Rwanda (ranking 134), Ethiopia (ranking 139) dan Burundi (ranking 143).

6 negara tercorot dalam ranking FIFA ialah San Marino, Montserrat, Andorra, American Samoa, Timor Leste dan Bhutan.

Seperti kita tahu, Rwanda pernah dilanda perang etnik antara Tutsi dan Hutu pada awal 1990an yang menyebabkan hamper sejuta orang terkorban.

Ethiopia juga sering dilanda kebuluran dan perang. Kebuluran terburuk dunia melanda Ethiopia pada 1984 hingga 1985 melibatkan 8 juta mangsa dan menyebabkan 1 juta penduduknya meninggal dunia dalam kelaparan dan penyakit.

Keadaan ini disifatkan tragedi bertaraf Biblical dan antara tragedi kemanusiaan terburuk abad ke 20, memaksa Negara maju sepeti Britain dan Amerika Syarikat menyampaikan bantuan kecemasan.


Ini Laporan berita BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) mengenai kebuluran teramat teruk di Ethiopia yang menggemparkan dunia, lantas membawa kepada sumbangan makanan dalam bilangan amat banyak untuk penduduk negara itu.

Malahan barisan bintang pop Amerika Syarikat menganjurkan konsert Live Aid pada 1985 untuk membantu mengutip derma bagi membeli makanan untuk penduduk Ethiopia yang sedang kelaparan.



Konsert itu diadakan pada 13 Julai 1985 serentak di Stadium Wembley, England dan Stadium John F. Kennedy, Philadelphia Amerika Syarikat.

Ia dijayakan artis terkemuka Amerika Syarikat dan antarabangsa seperti Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Bob Geldof, U2, Queen, David Bowie, Paul Mc Cartney, Joan Baez, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stone, Tina Turner.

Manakala Burundi juga sebuah Negara miskin yang menghadapi pelbagai masalah.

Oleh itu jika sekiranya Negara yang dilanda pelbagai musibah dan tidak mempunyai dana mencukupi untuk membina stadium bolasepak dan kemudahan sukan lain, berada di ranking lebih tinggi berbanding Malaysia, maka ini bermakna Malaysia yang lebih makmur, boleh memperbaiki ranking dunia FIFA asalkan ada semangat, iltizam dan komitmen jitu.

Elephant Has Sex With a Car With Passengers Still Inside

Next time you see an elephant, beware.

In this amazing sequence of photographs, a giant bull elephant is seen flipping a car over like it was a toy in the Pilansberg Game Reserve in North West Province, South Africa.

Pilanesberg Game Reserve is set in the crater of a long extinct volcano, and is the fourth largest in South Africa, covering an area of 55, 000 hectare.

Pilanesberg National Park accommodates virtually every mammal of southern Africa and is also home to the Big Five.

However one amazing moment was captured by photographer Riaan van Wyk, who watched the whole wildlife scene from a safe distance!

Irishman John Somers was celebrating his 66th birthday and driving through the Pilanesberg National park with a friend when he decided to try and overtake a huge and horny bull elephant. Big mistake.

The elephant, called Amarula, at first rubbed itself up against the car, perhaps mistaking it for a female mate.

But then the beast, pumped full of hormones, became aggressive and flipped the car on its roof as the terrified occupants clung on for dear life inside.









Luckily, they suffered only minor cuts and bruises from the incident.

Naked African woman causes stir in Kuala Lumpur

This is Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, home to 3 million city inhabitants.

Hey lady.. what went wrong that you resorted to go outside stark naked for all to see your private assets which include 2 mountains and a virgin jungle??

Well that happened in Kuala Lumpur on Monday, 7th February 2011.

A NAKED African woman caused a stir at a junction near Taman Cheras, in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. why did she do that?? Only she knows the right answers!!

An eyewitness, Mohd Ghani Mohd Ismail, 29, said he was shocked to see the naked woman who was jumping and shouting by the roadside on the Middle Ring Road 2 at around 12.30pm.

Policemen tried reasoning and ordered her to put her clothes back on but to no avail.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, acted like she was possessed and shouted in a foreign language before she “fainted”.

A few minutes later, she got up and streaked around the area before another woman, who was a customer at the restaurant, convinced her to dress up.

After the drama, the woman is believed to been taken in a police patrol car to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre for a medical check-up.

Hmmmmm..... perhaps boyfriend left her???

Physical Virginity Tests in Africa!!!!!!

Thousands of girls in South Africa are queuing up each month to prove that they are virgins, reviving an African tradition seen by many as the answer to the scourge of AIDS.

Bare-breasted teenagers wearing nothing but strings of beads and colourful loincloths regularly submit to the ordeal of having a stranger check if their hymens are intact, leaping for joy when the test confirms that they are still virgins.

Advocates say the revival of the rite, which had died out in all but a few rural areas late in the 20th century, is the most effective way to stop the spread of teenage pregnancies and the deadly HIV virus, believed to affect one in 10 South Africans.

Opponents argue that the practice is unconstitutional, unhygienic and violates the human rights of those being tested.

“Those who are behind the comeback...say that if we test young girls to see if they are virgins they will be fearful and will not engage in sexual activity,” said Phumelele Ntombela-Nzinande, former deputy head of the Commission for Gender Equality.

“We are arguing that this practice undermines the principles of equality, freedom and human dignity. It is difficult to tell whether or not a girl has had intercourse and after touching about 600 girls you can easily transfer infections.”

Girls between the age of seven and 26 lie on a mat in front of the woman doing the test, which only takes a few seconds. It is often carried out with bare hands and the tester seldom washes them.

Girls who pass get white stars pasted on their foreheads and a certificate confirming their virginity.

“We have come here to celebrate and keep our culture going,” 16- year-old Brenda Mkhize told Reuters television after her test.

“It’s better to be a virgin than to have AIDS and have a baby at the age of 16...we don’t see any reason to sleep with a guy, and I think I will stay like this until I get married.”

Mkhize was one of hundreds of girls attending a virginity celebration at a sports stadium near Durban in December.

Afterwards, the girls sang and danced in traditional Zulu fashion.

“We are here because we are proud of ourselves, because we are virgins,” another girl said.

Well physical virginity tests were also reported in India as shown in the video above dated August 3rd, 2009. That so called tests received widespread condemnations by leaders and elders.
