Brazil, Jerman, USA, Mexico, antara negara bertuah anjurkan Bolasepak Piala Dunia dan Olimpik selang 2 tahun

Logo Piala Dunia Brazil 2014

Logo Sukan Olimpik Rio De Janeiro, Brazil 2016

Logo Piala Dunia Jerman Barat 1974

Brazil untung, sudahlah tuan rumah bolasepak Piala Dunia 2014, hos Olimpik pula lepas tu 2 tahun kemudian pada 2016.

Bayangkan negara kita Malaysia menjadi tuan rumah bolasepak FIFA Piala Dunia dan 2 tahun selepas itu menjadi hos pula Sukan Olimpik.

Meriahkan?

Jawapannya Itali.

Negara lain pula seperti Malaysia bukan saja tidak pernah menjadi hos Piala Dunia, malahan tidak pernah menjadi hos sukan Olimpik. Malaysia hanya pernah menjadi tuan rumah sukan Komanwel 1998 dan hos Piala Dunia Belia pada 1997 yang menyaksikan kelibat pemain muda yang kemudiannya menjadi pemain tersohor iaitu Michael Owen - England, Pablo Aimar - Argentina, Thierry Henry dan David Trezeguet – Prancis bersama Esteban Cambiasso – Argentina.

Apapun Brazil pasti juara Piala Dunia 2014 di gelanggang sendiri.

Hidup Liverpool, Hidup Brazil.

Indonesia 0-10 Bahrain, FIFA Mahu siasat

Indonesia 0-10 Bahrain, FIFA Mahu siasat

Sama sama kita renungkan.

Ia dijayakan artis terkemuka Amerika Syarikat dan antarabangsa seperti Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Bob Geldof, U2, Queen, David Bowie, Paul Mc Cartney, Joan Baez, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stone, Tina Turner.

Go Malaysia.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup Preliminary Draw results in full

The 2014 World Cup Preliminary Draw took place at the Marina da Gloria in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Saturday 30 July 2011.

Brazil's all time World Cup top scorer with 15 goals, Ronaldo is seen taking part in the draw

This is the road to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. 5 times World Cup champion, Brazil will host the 20th World Cup soccer tournament from June 12 to July 13 in 2014.

FIFA.com rounds up the results from the Preliminary Draw which took place at the Marina da Gloria in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Saturday 30 July 2011.

There are no such things as automatic qualifications for the host, Brazil and World Cup defending champion, Spain.

Instead Brazil (the 5 times champion in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002) has to slug it out with 8 other South American countries including arch rival and number 1 nemesis, Argentina (the 1978 and 1986 champion) and Uruguay (the 2 times Champion, 1930 and 1950 World Cup winners and 15 times Copa America Champion including the 2011 edition).

Spain, the 2010 World Cup Champion is pitted in the same group as France, the 1998 champion in the qualification round.

Intercontinental play-offs

Asia – South America
North, Central America and the Caribbean - Oceania

African Zone Draw

Group A: South Africa, Botswana, Central African Republic, Somalia or Ethiopia
Group B: Tunisia, Cape Verde Islands, Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea or Madagascar
Group C: Côte d'Ivoire, Morocco, Gambia, Chad or Tanzania
Group D: Ghana, Zambia, Sudan, Lesotho or Burundi
Group E: Burkina Faso, Gabon, Niger, Sao Tome e Principe or Congo
Group F: Nigeria, Malawi, Seychelles or Kenya, Djibouti or Namibia
Group G: Egypt, Guinea, Zimbabwe, Comoros or Mozambique
Group H: Algeria, Mali, Benin, Eritrea or Rwanda
Group I: Cameroon, Libya, Guinea-Bissau or Togo, Swaziland or Congo DR
Group J: Senegal, Uganda, Angola, Mauritius or Liberia

From what i can see in the African Zone Draw, minnows teams like Comoros, Mauritius, Uganda, Eritrea, Rwanda, Gabon, Djibouti, Burundi, Lesotho, Madagascar, Ethiopia and what more the war-ravaged Somalia have little or no chance at all to advance beyond the qualifications stage. However no African nation has ever win the World Cup.

Instead traditional strong teams like Cameroon (who reached the World Cup Quarter Final in 1990) , Senegal (who reached the Quarter Final in 2002), Ghana (who reached the quaterfinal in 2010), Algeria (who up-setted West Germany in 1982), Egypt (the African Champion), Cote d'Ivoire (who boasts world class players such as Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou), Nigeria (who has many immensely talented world class players such as Nwanko Kanu, Victor Ipkeba, Rasheed Yekini and Daniel Amokachi) and South Africa can all qualify to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Asian Zone Draw

Group A: China, Jordan, Iraq, Singapore
Group B: Korea Republic, Kuwait, UAE, Lebanon
Group C: Japan, Uzbekistan, Syria, Korea DPR
Group D: Australia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Thailand
Group E: Iran, Qatar, Bahrain, Indonesia

In the Asian Zone qualifications stage, traditional power-house teams like Australia, Japan, Korea Republic (who qualified in every World Cup final since 1986), North Korea (who had a disastrous World Cup in 2010), Saudi Arabia, Iran and Qatar (the 2022 World Cup host) can all qualify to the World Cup final in Brazil. No Asian team has ever win the World Cup.

The best achievement by an Asian team was in the 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan where South Korea progressed all the way into the semi final before being beaten 0-1 by Germany, the eventual runners-up. However things might change for Asian teams this time as anything can happen in football. Look at the Japanese female soccer team who created history by becoming the first ever Asian country to win the FIFA Women World Cup in Germany in July 2011.

North, Central America and the Caribbean Zone Draw (Round Two)

Group A: El Salvador, Surinam, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic
Group B: Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Barbados, Bermuda
Group C: Panama, Dominica, Nicaragua, Bahamas
Group D: Canada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Puerto Rico, St Lucia
Group E: Grenada, Guatemala, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize
Group F: Haiti, Antigua and Barbuda, Curacao, US Virgin Islands

The North, Central America and Caribbean Zone always produce zero teams that can advance all the way to the final round of the World Cup. Canada made it to the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. The rest of the teams in this zone can kiss good bye to their World Cup ambitions, no way can they progress beyond this round.

North, Central America and the Caribbean Zone Draw (Round Three)

Group A: USA, Jamaica, Winner of R2 Grp E, Winner of R2 Grp F
Group B: Mexico, Costa Rica, Winner of R2 Grp A, Winner of R2 Grp B
Group C: Honduras, Cuba, Winner of R2 Grp D, Winner of R2 Grp C

This group above are traditionally dominated by none other than USA and Mexico who have qualified to the World Cup, on many occassions. Others would find it very hard to progress beyond this round.

Oceanian Zone Draw

Group A: Vanuatu, New Caledonia, American Samoa/Cook Islands/Samoa or Tonga, Tahiti
Group B: Fiji, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea

Only New Zealand can progress from this Oceanian Zone Draw. However in rugby, no teams in the world can beat the likes of New Zealand Fiji, Samoa and Tonga who are all rugby dominance nations. For the record New Zealand qualified to the 1982 World Cup in Spain and the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

European Zone Draw

Group A: Croatia, Serbia, Belgium, Scotland, Macedonia, Wales
Group B: Italy, Denmark, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Armenia, Malta.
Group C: Germany, Sweden, Republic of Ireland, Austria, Faroe Islands, Kazakhstan.
Group D: Netherlands, Turkey, Hungary, Romania, Estonia, Andorra.
Group E: Norway, Slovenia, Switzerland, Albania, Cyprus, Iceland.
Group F: Portugal, Russia, Israel, Northern Ireland, Azerbaijan, Luxembourg
Group G: Greece, Slovakia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Lithuania, Latvia, Lichtenstein
Group H: England, Montenegro, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, San Marino
Group I: Spain, France, Belarus, Georgia, Finland

The European Zone Draw is very interesting to watch. We have previous World Champions slugging it out among themselves including Italy (the 4 times champion in 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006), Germany (the 3 times winner in 1954, 1974, 1990), Netherlands (1974, 1978 and 2010 runners-up), England the 1966 champion, France the 1998 champion and 2010 and current champion, Spain.

Look at Group I, 2 World Champions, Spain and France are in the same group.

Let's see what happens then. Thanks for reading. Best Regards and Cheers.

Marta, pemain bolasepak wanita terhebat pernah dilahirkan

Dia menjaringkan 2 gol ketika Brazil menewaskan Norway, 3-0.

Adakah Marta mampu menjulang Piala Dunia Wanita FIFA 2011 bersama Brazil ?? Sama sama kita nantikan.

Hidup Marta. Terima kasih kerana membaca.

Russia Football League to probe racist jibe at Roberto Carlos

To all football folks, this is what Roberto Carlos is all about. He is a legend, a champion, not a monkey or chimpanzee.

World football governing body, FIFA and its President, Sepp Blater should seriously investigate the recent incident where Brazilian Football Star, Roberto Carlos was a victim of racism not once but twice.

Roberto Carlos is a legend, not an animal and he does not deserve that inhuman and jungle books treatments.

After the incident which happened on Wednesday 22 Jun 2011, Russia's football league is launching an investigation.

The shameful act by Russian football supporters happened after a banana was thrown at Roberto Carlos during a league match on Wednesday, 22 Jun 2011.

It was the second such racist taunt to be faced by the 2002 World Cup winner in three months, local media reported.

The Brazilian, who joined Anzhi Makhachkala earlier on 2011, quit the pitch in protest before the final whistle after the banana was thrown from the stands in stoppage time of a game at Krylya Sovetov.

Krylya Sovetov will also begin its own inquiry into the incident, the website of Russian daily Sport Express said.

"I'm outraged by the sickening behavior of this fan, who, in fact, insulted not only me but all the players," Roberto Carlos told Sport Express. "I hope Russian federation, UEFA and FIFA will give an adequate evaluation to this disgusting incident."

He said his decision to walk off had nothing to do with his side's 3-0 lead at the time.

"I did it deliberately because I have suffered a bitter disappointment and I didn't want to continue to play in the match," he said. "Believe me, I would have done it at any scoreline."

He also said he raised two fingers at the side of the pitch "to remind (people) that it was the second such case in the short time that I've been playing in Russia."

In March 2011, Russian champion Zenit St. Petersburg was fined $10,000 after one of its fans offered a banana to Roberto Carlos at a pre-match ceremony.

The 38-year-old left wingback, who won the World Cup in 2002, joined the Russian club earlier this year from Corinthians.

"It's a pity," the Brazilian said. "The majority of the people in the country treat players, including foreign ones, cordially and with respect. Unfortunately, there are also freaks, such as this one."

He added that a senior Krylya club official came to the changing room to apologize.

"I'm not used to racism in football," he told the RIA Novosti news agency. "Russia should not be an exception."

Sergei Fursenko, president of the Russian Football Federation, told Sport Express that his executive committee will discuss the incident at an extraordinary meeting Thursday 23 June 2011.

"We will sort out the situation and seriously punish those guilty," he was quoted as saying. "We must fight racism in the stands decisively."

The incident was also condemned by Anzhi coach Gadzhi Gadzhiyev.

"A banana thrown on the field left an impression as lingering as the joy of our victory," Gadzhiyev was quoted as telling the paper. "One cannot remain indifferent about a prank like this."

Match officials admitted Frank Lampard's disallowed goal was too fast for human eyes

This is the guy who crushed England's 2010 World Cup - Uruguayan referee Jorge Larrionda

Every human beings including me who saw on TV the 2010 World Cup 2nd round match between Germany and England, were absolutely sure that this should have been England's 2nd goal of the match.

The Jabulani ball was a yard over the goal line, courtesy of a Frank Lampard stirke.

But to the amazement of many, the match officals ruled that it was a non-goal and the referee in question, Jorge Larroinda from Uruguay, waved play on.

Linesman Mauricio Espinosa whose very job was to watch the ball from the 1st minute right up to the 90th minute failed miserably.

Espinosa should have his eyes rebooted with a genetically enhanced vision, because his blindness will go down in history as one of the greatest misses of the century in World Cup.

That June 27, 2010 incident at Bloemfontein, South Africa carried enough weight to be on the same level with Diego Maradona's infamous hand of God incident in 1986 which coincidently involved England squad and the globally disputed till today Geoff Hurst 3rd goal for coincidently England again in the 1966 World Cup final at Wembley.

The Daily Mail quoted the partially blind Espinosa as saying :

"It was a very fast shot that I did not see properly, even though I was located in the right place.

"We didn't see a replay in the dressing room at half-time but you could sense what had happened.

"It was only when we saw the TV that we realised what happened.

"I feel quite sad about it because we had prepared for such a long time for the World Cup.

"It could have happened to anyone, unfortunately it was us. You just have to accept it. Life goes on."

One has to feel sorry for a man who has failed to see a football when his sole duty is to look at a football for 90 minutes.

But the "fast shot" excuse seems a little weak: It was a looping long strike that didn't have half of the velocity of Carlos Tevez's rocket of a goal against Mexico.

Still, England fans can continue to seek solace in the fact that they won a World Cup in 1966 based on a controversial incident like this, and that Germany would have spanked them anyway.

This particular incident is also a very good lesson for the foolish FIFA President, Sepp Blatter who till today refused to use technology to solve incident of galaxy-magnitude like that.

After that 1-4 humiliation by Germany, England's embattled coach, Fabio Cappelo said :

"I just don't understand. We have the technology to assist the referee and we stay here to speak about this - goal or no goal. I don't understand why."

He added: "We play, I think, well when we were 2-1, 2-2. After we lost the third goal, we played I think a little bit disappointing. Mistakes were made because they played the counter-attack after the free-kick for us."

Despite the unlucky breaks, the result - England's worst ever World Cup defeat - meant Capello's men won just one game in South Africa, against Slovenia, and there was little argument that the players had failed to live up to expectations.

Asked about the poor performances, Capello said: "No, we played well. They played well because Germany is one of the biggest teams here. We made some mistakes when they played the counter-attack, the referee made the more big mistake, but this is the football. The little things decide the results always."

Frank Lampard said he was 'baffled' by the referee's decision: "I haven't seen the goal again but I didn't need to see it again. I knew straight away that my shot was over the line, clearly a yard or so. It baffles me that it wasn't given and it was a big deciding factor.

"I won't stand here and say it is the reason why we got knocked out, but if it had gone to 2-2, and we had still come out and played the way we did in the second half, it would have been a different game.

"I think it is time to bring in goal-line technology. We had a meeting before the World Cup when we were told about a million different rule changes that hardly affect the game.

"The big one, the one that affects the game today, hasn't been brought in so it is a no-brainer."

He added: "Nobody can stand here and tell me Germany were a lot better than us. They were not 4-1 better than us, but the things have conspired against us and maybe we have conspired against ourselves at times. It just didn't go for us."

Captain Steven Gerrard admitted the disallowed goal had an effect but made no excuses for the heavy defeat.

"There were big key decisions in the game, at 2-1 we had a goal disallowed," he told BBC 5 Live. "At 2-1 we were hurting them and we were still in the game. I think it (the disallowed goal) had an effect but we cannot use that as an excuse with being beaten 4-1.

"That would have been a big goal for us. It's all ifs and buts. Germany are a fantastic team and they deserved their win. You go away and you have a think about what went wrong and why we didn't progress further in the tournament.

"As a team we've made a big mistake today and we've been beaten by a good team. They were more clinical in front of goal and they made less mistakes than us and we got punished for that."
