Back on 24th May 2010, i wrote in this posting about Crystel Eve Huminodun Majinbon, who is widely tipped to win the Unduk Ngadau this year, 2010.

And i was right. Crystel Eve did won the UNDUK NGADAU 2010 held at the KDCA, Penampang on 31st May 2010 (Monday).

She is the pride of her family. Earlier in 1984 or exactly 26 years ago, Crystel mother - Esther Sikayun also won the Unduk Ngadau!! Deja Vu..!!

After the win, Crystel Eve became an instant celebrity in Sabah and also Malaysia.

But due to her very long and exotic name, some local and national media, spelled her name wrongly. Some wrote Crystal instead of Crystel and some newspapers printed Majinbun or Majimbon or Majimbun instead of Majinbon!!

But who care, the most important things is that Crystel won!!

One question however kept being murmured by people especially men - is she available? Does she has a sweetheart already?? Well only Crystel and Esther Sikayun know the answers!!

Well back to Crystel Eve Huminodun...

Yeahhh, the name is catchy right - Huminodun is a Kadazan-Dusun legend - about a beautiful princess in the olden days who sacrificed herself to help the starving people in the world, on that day.

The Unduk Ngadau is the main event during the annual Harvest Festival or Pesta Menuai or Pesta Kaamatan in Sabah, held from 1st May to 31st May, every year.

Each year on 31st May, an Unduk Ngadau will be crowned as the champion or the most beautiful and fairest amongst the beauty contestants from all over the state of Sabah.

Unduk Ngadau is held in remembrance of Huminodun, it is not like Miss Universe.

And Crystel Eve is hot favourite to win the accolade as UNDUK NGADAU 2010 - She got the looks, she got the distinguished Kadazan-Dusun ideal woman looks and the overall charm and the smile which is her greatest asset.

Crystel Eve is pure and not artificially manufactured ladies out there like Lady Gaga!!

Well Crystel Eve Huminodun Majinbon will be representing the district of Tanjung Aru.

She earned that place when she finished 1st runners up at the recently held UNDUK NGADAU Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu, DBKK on 14th May 2010, Crystel Eve was 1st runner up behind Linda John Alai.
