Senarai pemenang Anugerah Juara Lagu TV3 (1986-2013)

Anugerah Juara Lagu adalah pertandingan muzikal nombor satu di Malaysia, dianjurkan stesen televisyen nombor 1 negara, TV3 sejak 1986 lagi.

Setiap tahun, rancangan itu yang dulunya dikenali Muzik Muzik sebelum dikenali Anugerah Juara Lagu, disiarkan secara langsung TV3 bagi memilih lagu terbaik dan paling popular di Malaysia setiap tahun.

Bermula dari juara pertama - Francesca Peters pada 1986 sehinggalah Aizat pada 2009, dan terbaru Hafiz pada 2012 menerusi lagu Awan Nano ciptaan M. Nasir, Juara Lagu sentiasa menggamit minat penonton yang terpaku di depan Televisyen setiap kali rancangan itu ke udara.

Aizat - pemenang 2009, dan Hafiz pemenang 2012, mungkin masih bayi atau masih belum dilahirkan ketika Juara Lagu 1986 ke udara.

Antara artis paling berjaya dalam sejarah Juara Lagu ialah M. Nasir - dia banyak kali menang sebagai penyanyi dan juga komposer.

M. Nasir menang juara lagu pada 1994 menerusi lagu 'Tanya Sama itu Hud Hud', Ghazal untuk Rabiah - duet bersama Jamal Abdillah pada 1997 dan Andalusia pada 1999. Lagu lagu itu juga semuanya dicipta M. Nasir.

Terbaru M. Nasir menang kali ke 4 menerusi lagu ciptaannya AWAN NANO dinyanyikan Hafiz (Juara Akademi Fantasia 7 dari Sarawak) pada AJL 26 yang berlangsung pada malam 29 Januari 2012.

Siti Nurhaliza juga menang juara lagu sebanyak 3 kali menerusi Jerat Percintaan pada 1996, Cindai pada 1998 dan Balqis pada 2000.

Aishah juga menang 2 kali pada 1990 dengan lagu Janji Manismu dan Cinta Beralih Arah pada 1995.

1986 - Sekadar di pinggiran - Francesca Peters

Inilah juara pertama Anugerah Juara Lagu TV3 dan ketika itu dikenali Muzik Muzik. Francesa Peters berjaya menewaskan ramai sekali penyanyi popular ketika itu termasuklah Kumpulan AlleyCats dengan lagu Sampaikan Salam dan Rohana Jalil. Lihat pentasnya masih berkonsepkan Analog - teknologi zaman tu sebab belum sampai ke tahap teknologi Digital dan HD - High Defintion dan 3D - 3 Dimensional.




1987 - Menaruh Harapan - Zaiton Sameon
Komposer A. Ali / Lirik Habsah Hassan

Lagu ini memang hebat - mampu menyaingi lagu Rock yang begitu popular di Malaysia ketika itu. Malahan Allahyarham Sudirman Haji Arshad dengan lagu Merisik Khabar pun tewas.



1988 - Kau Kunci Cintaku - Ramlah Ram

Lagu ini menyerlahkan kekuatan vokal Ramlah Ram yang bakatnya mula digilap setelah muncul juara Bintang RTM. Ramlah juga memakai costum atau pakaian istimewa malam itu yang menampakkan lambang kunci. Kau kunci cintaku, didalam hatimuuuu!!!




1989 - Isabella - Search

Search akhirnya membuktikan keunggulannya sebagai kumpulan Rock no.1 Malaysia - Lagu Isabella popular di senatero dunia termasuk Indonesia. Lagu ini benar benar mendayu dan menyentuh perasaan. Persembahan Search diiringi seruling Rahim Othman. Saksikan persembahan mantap Amy, Din, Kid, Yazid dan Nasir.




1990 - Janji Manismu - Aishah

Aishah berjaya menjuarai Juara Lagu 1990 meskipun dia satu satunya yang membawa lagu pop - peserta akhir lain didominasi kumpulan Rock. Kunci kejayaan lagu ini terletak pada vokal Aishah. Aishah sebenarnya pernah menyanyi di New Zealand dan popular di negara itu.



1991 - Takdir dan Waktu - Mega

Tanpa disangka sangka - kumpulan rock Mega berjaya muncul juara meskipun banyak lagu lain yang lebih hebat pada malam itu.

Ini kali ketiga penyanyi jelita ini yang sudah menjadi milik Dato K, menjuarai Juara Lagu TV3. Lagu Irama Malaysia yang muncul Juara Lagu 2000.



2001 - Mimpi Laila - Yassin

Yassin mengejutkan semua pihak apabila muncul juara lagu 2001 dengan lagu Mimpi Laila yang diciptanya sendiri dan liriknya ditulis olehnya sendiri. Yassin adalah bekas penyanyi kumpulan nasyid - Brothers sebelum mencari haluan baru sebagai penyanyi solo dan nyata perjuangan seninya itu berbaloi.



2002 - Keliru - Nurul & Ajai

Lagu nyanyian pasangan suami isteri ini mengejutkan semua pihak apabila muncul juara kerana dikatakan bukan lagu favourite untuk muncul juara, sekaligus menimbulkan kontroversi. Sebaliknya lagu "Menadah Gerimis" ciptaan Azmeer dan dendangan Ziana Zain yang menjuarai kategori Balada dikatakan lebih hebat dan paling sesuai untuk menang, dan bukannya lagu Keliru. Hmmm "Keliru" memang mengelirukan!!



2003 - Bunga Bunga Cinta - Misha Omar

Misha Omar membuat kemunculan pada juara lagu dengan menjuarai pertandingan edisi 2003 menerusi lagu yang mendayu dayu ini.



2004 - Relaku Pujuk - Spider
Komposer Tam Spider / Lirik Keon

Kumpulan Spider membuktikan masih ada ruang untuk artis berkumpulan menang juara lagu selepas kali terakhir dimenangi Search pada 1990 dan Mega pada 1991. Lagu yang hebat lagi bertenaga ciptaan penyanyinya sendiri Tam. I like this song.



2005 - Gemilang - Jaclyn Victor
Komposer Aubrey Suwito / Lirik Asmin Mudin

Juara Malaysian Idol musim pertama - Jaclyn Victor bersaing hebat dengan juara Akademi Fantasia musim ke 3 - Mawi yang membawakan lagu Aduh Saliha pada malam juara lagu 2005 - Akhirnya Jaclyn berjaya juga mengalahkan Raja SMS - Mawi. Ini juga kali kedua seorang penyanyi bukan Melayu berjaya muncul juara selepas kali terakhir Francesa Peters pada 1986. Penulis lirik lagu ini pula Asmin Mudin berasal dari Sabah. Satu kejayaan dalam konteks 1 Malaysia.



2006 - Terlalu Istimewa - Adibah Noor

Berbadan gempal bukan halangan kepada Adibah Noor untuk menjuarai Anugerah juara lagu 2006. Kelunakan suaranya, kekuatan melodi dan lirik, berjaya menobatkan Terlalu Istimewa sebagai Juara Lagu 2006. Ceritanya berkisar kepada kanak kanak mangsa jenayah di Malaysia.



2007 - Itu Kamu - Estranged

Kumpulan Indie atau Independent akhirnya memecahkan tradisi Juara Lagu apabila muncul juara dengan lagu Itu Kamu ciptaan kumpulan itu sendiri. Penyanyi dan penulis lirik Itu Kamu - Rich atau Richael Lawrence Gimbang yang berasal dari Sabah pernah menyertai Akademi Fantasia musim ke 4. Ini juga kali pertama peserta program realiti Akademi Fantasia muncul Juara Lagu. Tahniah Rich.. Tahniah Sabah. Tahniah Estranged




2008 - Lagu Untukmu - Meet Uncle Hussain

Sekali lagi kumpulan Indie mengungguli Juara Lagu kali ini menerusi kumpulan Meet Uncle Hussain. Keunikan lagu ini dan kelantangan vokalisnya, Lan atau Azlan berjaya memukau juri pertandingan. Tapi sayang seribu kali sayang, selepas bergelar Juara Lagu 2008, Penyanyi utama Meet Uncle Hussain, Lan telah meninggalkan kumpulan itu dan menubuhkan Lan & The Typewriter. Apa yang berlaku??




2009 - Pergi - Aizat
Komposer Pete Teo / Lirik Amran Omar

Aizat - peserta Akademi Fantasia musim ke 5, muncul peserta Akademi Fantasia kedua menjadi juara Lagu selepas Rich AF4 pada 2007. Dulu gempal, sekarang kurus - nyanyian Aizat pada lagu berkonsepkan 1 Malaysia itu berjaya memukau juri untuk sekaligus dinobatkan Juara Lagu 2009. Namun ada pihak beranggapan ada lagu lain yang lebih baik dari Pergi untuk dinobatkan Juara Lagu 2009.


AJL 2010 - AJL ke 25
Updated Ahad 9 January 2011 - Anugerah juara lagu ke 25 dilangsungkan TV3 sebentar tadi di Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil, dan pemenangnya ialah seorang penyanyi baru yang memang baru dan dilaporkan bakatnya dikesan menerusi lagu lagunya yang diuploadkan ke Youtube.. Hmm macam superstar Amerika Syarikat - Justin Bieber.

Ok pemenang Anugerah Juara Lagu 2010 ialah Ana Raffali menerusi lagu Tolong Ingatkan Aku. Lagu ini mendapat perhatian juri AJL 25 diketuai M. Nasir dibantu ramai lagi termasuk Amy Search dan Habsah Hassan. Lagu ini dicipta Ana dan Liriknya oleh Ana juga.. hebat kan.. Dengan kemenangan ini Ana membawa pulang RM 35,000.




AJL ke 26, dilangsungkan di stadium Putra Bukit Jalil pada Ahad 29 Januari 2012, menobatkan lagu terbaik Malaysia untuk tahun 2011.




Sudah dijangka sifu M. Nasir juara Lagu pada Anugerah Juara Lagu ke 26 sebentar tadi pada Ahad, 29 Januari 2012.

Lagu ciptaannya AWAN NANO dan lirik oleh Buddhi Hekayat, dinyanyikan Juara Akademi Fantasia Musim ke 7, Hafiz, muncul juara Lagu sekaligus menggondol hadiah wang tunai RM35,000.

Hafiz juga menang kategori vokal terbaik, membawa pulang wang tunai RM10,000. Pakaian Hafiz juga menarik perhatian kerana amat simple, hanya berT-Shirt dan track-suit, sesuai dengan tema lagu ini mengenai anak yang bertengkar dengan ayahnya lalu insaf dan kembali berdamai dengan "ayahnya" yang menunggu di bawah pentas!!

Sebelum ni M. Nasir sudah 3 kali menang juara lagu pada 1994 menerusi lagu 'Tanya Sama itu Hud Hud', Ghazal untuk Rabiah - duet bersama Jamal Abdillah pada 1997 dan Andalusia pada 1999. Lagu lagu itu juga semuanya dicipta M. Nasir.

Tahniah M. Nasir dan Hafiz dan Buddhi Hekayat.






Tempat kedua pula dimenangi lagu Beribu Sesalan ciptaan Kevin Chin dan lirik oleh Tinta, nyanyian 3 suara Ning Baizura, Jaclyn Victor, Shila Amzah, meraih hadiah wang tunai RM15,000.00






Manakala tempat ketiga lagu KARMA nyanyian Faizal Tahir dan ciptaan/lirik Audi Mok dan Faizal Tahir untuk hadiah wang tunai RM12,000.00. Gimik Faizal Tahir bermain piano ketika piano sedang terbakar mengegarkan Malaysia!!

Anugerah Juara Lagu ke 27 berlangsung di stadium Bukit Jalil pada Ahad 6 Januari 2013. Yuna menjuarai AJL 27 dengan lagu Terukit di Bintang ciptaan dan lirik oleh Yuna sendiri.


Namun Yuna berada di Amerika Syarikat ketika final AJL 27, Aizat menggantikan Yuna sebagai penyanyi dan berjaya menyampaikan lagu itu dengan baik. Yuna meraih hadiah wang tunai RM35,000.00, namun melodi lagu ini macam pernah saya dengar di lagu lain, adakah lagu Yuna ini diciplak melodinya dari lagu lain???

Sayang sekali Jimmy Palikat dan One Nation Emcee diiringi penari2 berpakaian tradisi Sabah, tidak dinobatkan juara persembahan terbaik yang sebaliknya milik Black dan RJ yang menyanyikan lagu Teman Pengganti, persembahan terbaik diundi oleh orang ramai menerusi sms.

Naib juara AJL 27 milik Azlan and the Typewriter dengan lagu Idola manakala Hafiz dengan lagu KuAkui di tempat ketiga. Vokal terbaik dimenangi Hafiz dengan lagu Ku Akui.



Anugerah Juara lagu ke 28 pula berlangsung pada 26 Januari 2014 bersamaan hari Ahad di stadium Putra Bukit Jalil.



Hafiz terus unggul apabila menang 3 kategori iaitu Juara Lagu AJL ke 28 membawa pulang hadiah wang tunai RM35000 dengan lagu Bahagiamu Deritaku ciptaan dan lirik oleh LY dan Baiduri. Hafiz juga menang persembahan terbaik, menawarkan wang tunai RM10,000 menerusi konsep musim luruh dimana set pentas diserikan pokok luruh lengkap dengan dedaunan luruh. Hafiz juga menang anugerah lagu paling banyak didownload bagi senarai 12 lagu AJL oleh Celcom.



Namun penguasaan 3 tahun berturut turut oleh Hafiz selaku vokal terbaik kali ini dinafikan Jacyln Victor menerusi lagu Ikut Rentaku yang dinyanyikan bersama 5 penyanyi wanita hebat termasuk Adibah Nor, Salamiah Hassan dan Adira. Jacyln membawa pulang hadiah wang tunai RM10,000.



Tempat kedua AJL 28 dimenangi Hyper Act dengan lagu hebat Hanya Aku. Mereka membawa pulang wang tunai RM15,000


Manakala tempat ketiga Lagu Kalau Aku Kaya nyanyian Awie Rafael dan Altimet, membawa pulang RM12,000.00. Menariknya lagu ini ketika dipersembahkan pada malam final AJL 28 lengkap dengan gimik ribuan "wang tunai" dijatuhkan dari siling stadium kepada ribuan hadirin. Hmm..hebatt

AIZAT - bagaimana dia boleh kuruskan badan dengan cepat??

Akademi Fantasia, AF, program hibuan popular terbitan Astro dan pernah menjadi kegilaan ramai khususnya pada musim pertama hingga ketiga dan pernah melahirkan bintang popular seperti Stacy, Mawi, Vince, Aizat dan Marsha.

Namun dari AF musim 1 pada 2003 hingga musim terakhir pada 2011, ada 3 peserta lelaki yang badannya gempal, namun suara umpama buluh perindu.

Mereka ialah :


Sahri dari Akademi Fantasia musim pertama pada 2003



Bob dari AF musim ke 2 pada 2004



Dan Aizat, AF5, 2007

Terlebih dulu, Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.. Maaf Zahir Batin.

Kita fokus kepada AIZAT dulu lah ye.

Antara ribuan artis yang merayakan kedatangan 1 Syawal 1431 Hijrah di Malaysia adalah penyanyi popular - AIZAT.

Mula dikenali ketika menyertai Akademi Fantasia musim ke 5 pada 2007. Aizat yang berbadan gempal ketika itu memukau peminatnya kerana versatile dan mempunyai suara yang lunak dalam setiap persembahannya. Malahan Aizat juga sering mendapat pujian daripada pengkritik tetap.

Namun tuahnya sampai ke situ sahaja apabila tersingkir dan tidak dapat ke final. Akademi Fantasia musim ke 5 akhirnya dimenangi Mila - peserta wanita pertama muncul Juara selepas didominasi peserta lelaki dalam Akademi Fantasia musim pertama, kedua, ketiga dan keempat.

Namun Aizat rupanya menjadi lebih popular dan lebih berjaya daripada peserta lain dalam Akademi Fantasia 5 termasuklah juaranya Mila.

Apa tidaknya, Aizat muncul sebagai Juara Keseluruhan anugerah Juara Lagu TV3 2009 yang disiarkan secara langsung pada Januari 2010 menerusi lagu "PERGI" ciptan Pete Teo dan lirik oleh Amran Omar. Aizat juga menang persembahan terbaik.

Aizat juga menang Anugerah Bintang Popular 2009 selaku Penyanyi Lelaki Popular.

Satu lagi kejayaan Aizat adalah kejayaannya menguruskan badannya dengan begitu cepat sekali... Hmmm apa rahsianya???










Aizat menyampaikan lagu La Camisa Negra pada konsert mingguan AF5 pada 2007 - memang gemuk kan??

Fast Forward >>> Perhatikan pula video di bawah, pada 2010 - hanya 3 tahun selepas Akademi Fantasia musim ke 5 - Aizat sudah jauh lebih kurus kan???



Aizat kini kurus, tidak lagi gemuk seperti dulu. Mungkin berat badannya berkurangan lebih 30 kg??







Persoalannya bagaimana Aizat boleh menguruskan badannya dengan begitu cepat sekali???

Adakah dia menggunakan herba, bersenam, memakan pemakanan khas, memakan ubat ubatan khas atau menggunakan formula mengurangkan berat badan yang ajaib lagi sakti?? Atau adakah ubat menguruskan badan itu didatangkan khas dari Kayangan?

I get this question almost everywhere I go nowadays. I wonder jugak apa bezanya diet dulu dan sekarang. Actually semasa dalam akademi dulu, Aizat yang paling sikit makan ( walaupun dlm diari I was potrayed otherwise) sebab takut berat badan akan menganggu penafasan untuk menyanyi. Aizat turunlah sikit but not ketara. So apa beza dengan sekarang? One thing for sure - DIET IS NOT EVERYTHING IN LOSING WEIGHT!! Maknanya makan, jangan tak makan. Two things yang Aizat avoid, Fizzy drinks and Rice (seminggu sekali je). Makan pulak ada timing - every 4 jam, makan small portions. Dengan diet is of course the WORKOUT/EXERCISE - 30 minit EVERYDAY!! Mentally, I tell myself I need to burn the calories I ate today. eg. 30 minutes of brisk walking will burn at least 200 calories. So what's new?? At the end of the day, I think the most important factor is our MINDSET! Apa yang really buat Aizat tekad was the fact that I lost 3 kgs in the first week selepas ikut diet/exercise diatas. Wow! It really inspired me. Kalau boleh turun 3 kg seminggu kali 8 minggu = 24 kg. and the rest is history! So kalau Aizat boleh, anyone can do it. Try it!

Hmmm... Seorang lagi peserta AF - Yusrizan Usop atau Bob dari Sarawak yang kita kenali pada AF musim ke 2 pada 2004, pula masih mengekalkan berat badannya yang agak heavy dan belum kurus lagi.. Hehehe


Sahri AF1

Begitu juga peserta AF musim pertama pada 2003, Sahri bin Sarip, dari Berang, Melaka yang lebih dikenali sebagai Sahri, mempunyai suara sedap dan badan agak gempal juga.

Remembring 9/11 - The 2,977 victims and The falling man

The haunting images of the September 11, 2001 suicide attacks by Al Qaeda in America, are still very fresh in our minds, even after almost 9 years.

Images of 2 jet planes plunging into the World Trade Centre Twin Towers in New York, could not be forgotten by us, for years to come.

These disasters were caused by mentally deranged satan in human beings forms - the likes of the Egyptian lunatic - Mohammed Atta and others, following blindly what Osama bin Laden ordered them, in the belief that they will enter straight into heaven after commiting those horrific acts.

The truth is that all of Mohammed Atta friends and himself were being sent straight to hell for killing innocent human beings, for no religion in the world condone such brutal acts against humanity.

The 4 attacks on both twin towers, the Pentagon and the fourth aircraft that crashed off Pennsylvania after the passengers fought back with the satanic terrorists, killed altogether 2,997 victims including the 19 insane hijackers.














The gripping image of The Falling Man

Apart from the thousands of images of the World Trade Centre Twin Towers on fire and the subsequent buildings collapse, another unforgettable images are that of The Falling Man.

Theologian Mark D. Thompson of Moore Theological College says that "perhaps the most powerful image of despair at the beginning of the twenty-first century is not found in art, or literature, or even popular music. It is found in a single photograph - and that photograph is that of the Falling Man.

The Falling Man is one of 2,997 victims of the Sept 11, 2001 attack.

The man apparently fell down from the twin towers that once stood at 110 storeys or 1,500 feet tall.

Infact, at least 200 people jumped to their deaths from the burning towers, landing on the streets and rooftops of adjacent buildings hundreds of feet below.

The victims had no hope, they cannot be rescued and the fire was fast spreading, so they resorted to jump fatally.

Initially, the Falling Man was identified by The Globe and Mail reporter Peter Cheney as Norberto Hernandez, but when the family looked at the whole series of pictures, it was clear that it was not Hernandez.

Three other families claimed that he was their relative, but after careful analysis of the photo this was disproved.

Then, 5 years after the attacks, the Falling Man was said to be Jonathan Briley, a 43-year-old employee of the Windows on the World restaurant.

Briley was a sound engineer who lived in Mount Vernon, New York and worked in the North Tower.

The image of the Falling Man was identified by chef Michael Lomonaco as The Falling Man.

However people, families and relatives of those victims who fall to their death at the World Trade Centre on Sept 11, 2001 attacks, were still skeptical.

Till today, the true identity of The Falling Man has never been officially confirmed.

Farewell to Rich Cronin of LFO

Rich Cronin of '90s boy band LFO died on Wednesday, 8th September 2010 at age 35, CNN confirms.

He passed away in a Massachusetts hospital, according to bandmate Brad Fischetti.

Cronin, who wrote and sang the number one smash "Summer Girls," was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005; despite chemotherapy, the disease returned in 2007 and 2008.

The singer-songwriter then underwent a stem cell transplant -- which, according to Fischetti, led to a stroke and severe leg pain.

Even with his medical battles, Cronin reunited with LFO pals Fischetti and Devin Lima for a summer 2009 tour.

His bandmates gave him a large back bedroom on the bus so he could rest in between gigs.

"We had the best time ever," Fischetti said. "He never thought he'd be on stage again."

Fellow boy band star Lance Bass of N Sync paid tribute to Cronin on Twitter late Wednesday. "Sad sad day that Rich Cronin died- was a amazing guy :(" Bass wrote.

Gladys Tan Yee Kim - Malaysia's best student SPM 2009

Sarawakian lass, Gladys Tan Yee Kim was named the top Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, SPM examination, student in Malaysia in 2009.

She not only passed with flying colours but also nobody can beat her super extra-ordinary results of 10A+’s.

The SMK Green Road student said she was very happy and proud with her results, which exceeded her expectations.

“All I hoped for was straight As and anything better than that would be a bonus. I never dreamed of getting A+ for all my subjects, and becoming the top student was definitely unexpected.

“In fact, it still hasn’t sunk in,” she told The Star - the local Malaysian daily.

Gladys obtained A+ in Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, History, Moral, Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

“I want to thank God for His blessing and also my parents and teachers,” she said, adding that she planned to apply for a scholarship to further her studies in a science-related field.

Asked for her advice to fellow students, she said it was important to pay attention in class, listen to the teachers and do homework.

Her advice and recipe for success is simple - “Just be a good student and do your best,”..

In April 2010, Gladys and 29 other students who excelled in their studies, was announced as one of the recipients of the inaugural 2010 national scholarship.

She and the 29 others who scored ‘A+’ in all subjects will pursue studies in the disciplines of their choice at leading universities of the world recognised by the government, said a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.

The scholarship was announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak when he tabled the 2010 Budget in Parliament in October last year to reward students who excelled in their studies.

The 30 students who received the scholarship are described as the 30 creme de la creme students.

Selection was strictly based on merit to enable them to further their education in world-renowned universities.

As of 2010, the government had decided to sponsor most outstanding SPM students to pursue education for their first degree at leading universities in the country and abroad.

This sponsorship programme is aimed at providing prestigious scholarships for outstanding SPM students in the effort to produce quality human capital to ensure the nation’s continuity capabilities in the future.

Controversial breast cancer awareness campaign in Singapore

The Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is a non-profit charity organisation, established in October 1997. BCF’s mission is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease

According to BCF, breast cancer is curable if detected early. BCF hopes that by raising awareness of breast cancer and encouraging women to screen themselves regularly, breast cancer will be detected earlier and the chances of surviving the disease will be greatly enhanced.

The mission is noble - but BCF's recent campaign to prevent breast cancer, creates controversy.

This is beacuase A CARTOON character used in that campaign shows the character squeezing a nipple and painted with breasts as its head.

Media reported that the campaign with the tagline “Are you obsessed with the right things?”, was launched by the Breast Cancer Foundation in order for women not to take their health for granted.

Besides the cartoon characters, it also featured the buttocks of a woman painted on bare breasts.

Foundation general manager Christine Ang said it was satisfied with the advertisements as these had clearly sent out the message to women.

The advertisments’ creative director, Thomas Yang, said its team found that many women were obsessed with their appearance, such as their hair, pimples or weight.

“So our team decided to use the naked female body as a canvas to capture public attention and focus on the right part of their body,” he added.

Sosilawati’s luxurious BMW X5 sports utility vehicle was found near the Angsana Flats along USJ1 in Subang Jaya on Monday night, 6th September 2010 while her lawyer’s car, a BMW 525i was found at SS15 near the Grand Dorsett Hotel.

The whereabouts of Datuk Sosilawati Lawia remains a mystery as Malaysians celebrate Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.

As of today, 10th September 2010, the day Malaysians celebrate the arrival of 1 Syawal, Sosilawati and the three persons, are still nowhere to be found.

Being a celebrity and cosmetic millionaire, Datuk Sosilawati was always being interviewed on Malaysian TV.

PETALING JAYA, Selangor, Malaysia : Speculation of three people being arrested in Banting in connection with the disappearance of beauty product millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya sent the media on a wild goose chase who travelled nearly 100km but returned empty-handed.

Getting wind of the arrests, members of the various print and electronic media rushed from Banting to Morib and later to Tanjung Sepat.

On the way there they heard that the three suspects had led the police forensics team to a few bodies buried at an oil palm plantation.

After several hours scouring the said area and making calls to Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar and Federal CID deputy director Deputy Comm Hadi Ho Abdullah among various other high-ranking officers for details, a source later revealed that the three arrested were foreigners without valid travel documents and had no connection with Sosilawati’s case.

It was also learnt that the police team came out empty-handed as they did not find any body at the plantation.

Police continued to remain tight-lipped on the development of the case as Sosilawati and the three men’s disappearance entered its 12th day today.

Sosilawati, 47, her driver Kamaruddin Shamsudin, 44, CIMB Bank officer Noorhisham Mohammad, 38, and her personal lawyer Ahmad Kamil Abdul Karim, 32, were reported missing while on a business trip to Banting, Selangor, purportedly to conclude a land deal.

A visit to Sosilawati’s family residence in Gombak revealed that the family was unaware of the developments that caused a furore with the media.

“No, we did not hear anything,” said Sosilawati’s third child Md Erwan Nasri, 22.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan urged the public to stop speculating on the four people’s disappearance.

“As for rumours that she (Sosilawati) was murdered, we have absolutely not heard anything. Let the police investigate first, do not speculate,” he told Bernama.

Selangor police chief Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar said they had forwarded all information from witnesses to the Kuala Lumpur police.

Sources have revealed that a lawyer who carries the title of Datuk is among those believed to be involved in the disappearance of Sosilawati.

They lawyer is said to have previous allegations of being involved in land scams and several people dealing with him had gone missing in the past.

Girl, 15 shot dead by boyfriend, using home made shot gun - Bakakuk

Have you ever heard of the word - Bakakuk???

Well "Bakakuk" is a type of home made shot gun, found in Sabah, Malaysia, generally used for hunting wild animals, as well as to protect traditional farms by the local natives people.

Some village people are experts in manufacturing Bakakuks because some Bakakuks models turn out to be like real US-made Shot guns.!!

These Bakakuks use real bullets or pellets, readily available in the market.

Bakakuks are however illegal as one needs to posses valid gun licence or licences to become legal gun-user/s.

There had been many bad incidents, involving Bakakuks.

There were instances where hunter or hunters were wounded or critically and even fatally shot by their own fellow hunters, while hunting deep in the tropical jungles of Sabah.

The hunter/s often mistakes their hunting buddy/buddies as wild animal/s.

These cases of mistaken identities, happened many times, either at night or during broad daylights.

Sometimes, certain village people become "outlaws" or become "Jesse James", during "uncontrolled" drinking sessions.

Reports of drunken people, shooting at fellow drinking buddies, while armed with Bakakuk/s have been published in the local media in Sabah.

One such story was published by the Daily Express on September 8, 2010.

A 15-year-old girl (still a student during that material time) was shot dead with a single gunshot in a house at a village known as Kampung Nabutan, about 30 kilometres from the township of Ranau, Monday night, 6 September 2010.

Ranau itself is 100 kilometres from Kota Kinabalu, the state capital of Sabah.

The local girl identified only as Avita, from Kg Marakau Dambalangan, was shot point blank with a home-made shotgun, locally known as Bakakuk.

The gun's pellets hit her arm first before fatally penetrating her chest.

Prior to the incident, the victim and her 19-year-old cousin had followed their boyfriends to the house for a drinking session with several others.

District Police Chief, Deputy Superitendent of Police, Suhaimy Hashim said the house was used as accommodation for oil palm plantation workers and that both the girls' boyfriends, in their 20s, worked in plantations.

"After the drinking session, the two men brought the girls to separate rooms on the upper floor. All of them were drunk."

"We don't know yet what had happened in the room where the victim was but her cousin who was with her boyfriend in another room heard a gunshot at about 8.30pm."

"Both of them ran out of the house," he said, adding that the two men are locals.

Suhaimy said the house owner discovered Avita's lifeless body on the upper floor with a bullet wound on her chest at 10.20am, Tuesday, about 14 hours after the incident.

"We believe the victim's boyfriend had shot her with a bakakuk.

She was shot on her right arm and the bullet penetrated her chest."

Police have since managed to arrest the two men for investigations. Avita's cousin was also picked up to facilitate the probe.

Avita's body was taken to the Ranau district hospital for post-mortem and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
