All the best girl..

A RM20,000 reward has been offered to anyone who has valid information on missing 6 year old child William Yau Zhen Zhong's whereabouts, missing since Wednesday 16th January 2013 in Kuala Lumpur

Any information, please call 03 5631 9800 or 012 2197133

KUALA LUMPUR: A RM20,000 reward has been offered to anyone who has valid information on missing child William Yau Zhen Zhong's whereabouts.

MCA Public Services and Complaints Department Datuk Seri Michael Chong said that the reward would only be given if it led to Yau being found.

"This is for anyone who can give information leading to the finding of this child," he told reporters at Wisma MCA on Sunday, 20th January 2013.

Chong added, however, that the reward would not be given to anyone who might be holding Yau for ransom.

Yau's parents, Yau Kok Kang and Goh Ying Ying, were at the press conference.

Yau's parents contributed RM5,000 while the KK Group of Companies and the Honorary RELA Club (Federal Territories) donated RM5,000 and RM10,000 respectively.

“Please forgive me. I was wrong to leave my children alone.”

This was the tearful plea of Goh Ying Ying, the mother of six-year-old William Yau Zhen Zhong, who has been missing since last Wednesday night, 16th January 2013.

“I am not angry at what the public is saying and I accept that I made a mistake. I hope good people will take care of my child and send him back to me as soon as possible,” she said in between sobs at a press conference at the MCA Public Complaints and Services Department.

William's father Yau Kok Kang, who sat next to her, looked dazed and kept silent, and was seen occasionally hugging his wife.

Goh and Yau have been flooded with phone calls and SMSes that mainly offered sympathy while others scolded them for leaving their three children, Eric, William and Cindy inside their car while they went to a Putra Heights electrical appliances store.

“One man called me on Sunday at 5am, and said he would give me back my son if I sent him naked photos of myself,” she said.

William had got out of the car to look for his parents. When the couple returned, he was already gone.

Since then, the Yau family has been tirelessly looking for him, with neighbours and friends printing thousands of flyers about the little boy.

Malaysians from all quarters are rallying around the family to help them find William.

“He's a good, little boy,” said family friend and babysitter Alec Lee, 53, outside the Yaus' home in Shah Alam.

“If you ask him to do anything, he will listen to you.”

“It's really sad. They made a single mistake, and they're paying for it.” said Yau's neighbour, businessman K. Auaduer.

“It could have happened to anyone.”

Anyone who has information, kindly contact the nearest police stations.

Tun Dr Mahathir MOhamad says Identitiy Cards in Sabah handed out legally to foreigners

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad did not deny that Government officials gave foreigners in Sabah identity cards before the 1994 state elections.

However, he said that these cards were handed out legally, adding that he did not know if former Deputy Home Affairs Minister Tan Sri Megat Junid Megat Ayub had ordered them to be issued on purpose ahead of state elections.

"If he did it before the state elections, that is either coincidental or deliberate, I wouldn't know, but it is within the law," he said at a press conference.

"That it happened before the state elections is not against the law," said Dr Mahathir who was also the country's Home Affairs Minister from 1986 to 1999.

He added that foreigners were legally given citizenships as long as they fulfilled certain criteria.

He was responding to news reports that a former Sabah National Registration Department (NRD) official told a Royal Commission of Inquiry that Megat Junid ordered temporary identification receipts of lost or damaged ICs to be given to foreigners.

This was supposedly done two weeks before the 1994 state elections which Parti Bersatu Sabah barely won with 25 out of 48 state assembly seats.

These foreigners were alleged to have been added to parliamentary constituencies that would have been difficult for Barisan Nasional to contest in.

It was also reported that a special NRD unit formed in the 90s had issued over 100,000 blue ICs and 200,000 birth certificates to immigrants.

It was claimed that both the NRD and the Election Commission (EC) worked together to increase the number of Muslim voters in Sabah in 1992 and 1993.

PLEASE HELP THIS 12 YEAR OLD KID FROM TENOM, SABAH, NEOWELL VANN HOUTTON, AGE 12, URGENT APPEAL FOR DONATION OF BLOOD TYPE O POSITIVE R1 R1 JKA

PRESS STATEMENT

UPDATES FROM NILAKRISNA JAMES ON BEHALF OF NEOWELL VANN HOUTTON, Thalassemia patient, AGE 12, URGENT APPEAL FOR DONATION OF BLOOD TYPE O POSITIVE R1 R1 JKA

Neowell Vann Houtton

Nilakrisna James

11 January 2013

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah—The 4th floor of Hospital Likas in Kingfisher was today swarmed with donors from all walks of life rushing to donate blood to save the life of Neowell Vann Houtton, whose rare blood type O Positive R1R1 JKA must have an EXACT match to qualify for a successful blood transfusion. Neowell

Nilakrisna James, lawyer and activist appealing on 12 year old’s Neowell’s behalf, said that hospital staff had informed her that the blood of donors will go into the blood bank for the hospital and distributed to any patient, not just Neowell. However, Neowell must have an exact blood match so all regular donors to the hospital who have donor cards or are aware that they are O Positive R1R1 JKA are encouraged to donate their blood at Hospital Likas 4th floor in Kingfisher and inform Neowell’s mother, Selly Onong, 0107826955 immediately.

“I appealed to the hospital staff that donors are responding to a public press appeal specifically to help Neowell and that the donors are well aware that their blood will go into a general blood bank if not exactly matched to Neowell. I was also informed by the hospital that the blood will have to be screened first before it can be used for transfusion, which is obvious. Selly Onong and her son has had no updates from Hospital Likas all day and both mother and child are just getting ready for hospital admission at any time as Neowell is now lying down at home and no longer has the energy to get up,” said Nilakrisna.

Nilakrisna added that there is an overwhelming sense of frustration from the public that the hospital only opens their blood donation unit on weekdays till 5pm. “This is not acceptable to a lot of people as many consider the necessity for blood donation and transfusion to be a constant humanitarian need and by closing on weekdays by 5pm you are cutting off potential donors from people who are working adults. Not opening on weekends is also a source of complaints from those who called me all day and many have expressed the necessity for 24 hour emergency blood donation units to be operational in the hospitals. This is something that the Ministry of Health needs to address immediately as there is a real necessity to have a healthy supply of various types of blood in our blood banks nationwide.”

“I am most concerned about the fact that the hospital is not in a position to have a database of rare blood types donors that they can call in situations like this. People with rare blood types should be informed and be the first point of call to assist with blood donations for patients like Neowell. We shouldn’t have to wait till critical blood levels which are life threatening and then expect patients and their families to just hope and pray that somebody from the public will turn up. Selly was told to go and find her own donors! This is the fourth time we have had to appeal via the press and a system is still not in place after 7 years to form a database of donors that can be matched with patients of rare blood types. This is not acceptable to anyone in the public. No one needs to die first before we have a system in place.”

Datuk Raime Unggi, Member of Parliament for Tenom P181, has also contacted Nilakrisna to join the efforts to find donors in the interior of Sabah and will be heading the campaign to bring awareness of the need for blood donation and the improvement in the screening of blood types in the main hospital in Keningau. “I am grateful to Datuk Raime as he is the only MP today who has bothered to call me and respond positively by donating his own blood. Kudos to him and to all the donors who came forward to donate today: These are our real heroes of Sabah.”

ALL O-Positive blood type are encouraged to continue donating next week in case a match can be found for Neowell and be aware that if they are not O-Positive R1R1 JKA, they are still donating blood to save countless lives of women and children in Hospital Likas.

“Test your blood and find out if you are Neowell’s exact match. You can never waste your blood if you donate to the hospital. Every drop you give will save a life,” said Nilakrisna

Internal emails offer details on Osama bin Laden burial at sea

Osama bin laden, the world's top terrorist, killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan by the elite US Navy Seals Team 6 on May 1st, 2011.

The USS Carl Vinson

WASHINGTON as reported by the Associated Press (AP)— Internal emails among U.S. military officers indicate that no sailors watched Osama bin Laden's burial at sea from the USS Carl Vinson and traditional Islamic procedures were followed during the ceremony.

The emails, obtained by The Associated Press through the Freedom of Information Act, are heavily blacked out, but are the first public disclosure of government information about the al-Qaida leader's death. The emails were released Wednesday by the Defense Department.

Bin Laden was killed on May 1, 2011, by a Navy SEAL team that assaulted his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

One email stamped secret and sent on May 2 by a senior Navy officer briefly describes how bin Laden's body was washed, wrapped in a white sheet, and then placed in a weighted bag.

According to another message from the Vinson's public affairs officer, only a small group of the ship's leadership was informed of the burial.

"Traditional procedures for Islamic burial was followed," the May 2 email from Rear Adm. Charles Gaouette reads. "The deceased's body was washed (ablution) then placed in a white sheet. The body was placed in a weighted bag. A military officer read prepared religious remarks, which were translated into Arabic by a native speaker. After the words were complete, the body was placed on a prepared flat board, tipped up, whereupon the deceased's body slid into the sea."

The email also included a cryptic reference to the intense secrecy surrounding the mission. "The paucity of documentary evidence in our possession is a reflection of the emphasis placed on operational security during the execution of this phase of the operation," Gaouette's message reads. Recipients of the email included Adm. Mike Mullen, then the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Gen. James Mattis, the top officer at U.S. Central Command. Mullen retired from the military in September 2011.

Earlier, Gaouette, then the deputy commander of the Navy's Fifth Fleet, and another officer used code words to discuss whether the helicopters carrying the SEALs and bin Laden's body had arrived on the Vinson.

"Any news on the package for us?" he asked Rear Adm. Samuel Perez, commander of the carrier strike group that included the Vinson.

"FEDEX delivered the package," Perez responded. "Both trucks are safely enroute home base."

Although the Obama administration has pledged to be the most transparent in American history, it is keeping a tight hold on materials related to the bin Laden raid. In a response to separate requests from the AP for information about the mission, the Defense Department said in March that it could not locate any photographs or video taken during the raid or showing bin Laden's body. It also said it could not find any images of bin Laden's body on the Vinson.

The Pentagon also said it could not find any death certificate, autopsy report or results of DNA identification tests for bin Laden, or any pre-raid materials discussing how the government planned to dispose of bin Laden's body if he were killed.

The Defense Department also refused to confirm or deny the existence of helicopter maintenance logs and reports about the performance of military gear used in the raid. One of the stealth helicopters that carried the SEALs to Abbottabad crashed during the mission and its wreckage was left behind. People who lived near bin Laden's compound took photos of the disabled chopper.

The AP is appealing the Defense Department's decision. The CIA, which ran the bin Laden raid and has special legal authority to keep information from ever being made public, has not responded to AP's request for records about the mission.

Malaysia : Glass panel with 'Virgin Mary' image removed, handed to local church

Updated 20th November 2012

The glass panel at the Sime Darby Medical Centre (SDMC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with an image said to resemble the Virgin Mary has been removed and handed over to the Catholic church.

In a statement, Sime Darby Group said two glass panels from the North Tower of the hospital complex were removed Tuesday morning, 20th November 2012.

"SDMC has removed and handed over the two window panes. One of the panes has on it marks that some claim resemble artistic depictions of Mary, the Mother of Jesus," it said.

The glass panels were delivered to the Marian Church of Our Lady Lourdes in Klang.

The image had drawn huge crowds to the hospital since pictures of it went viral online.

A large group of people, mostly Catholics, gathered below the area at the new wing of the hospital since 10 November 2012, lighting candles, singing hymns and reciting prayers.

Traffic was heavy around the vicinity, with even tourist buses pulling up by the roadside. This happened daily since the image was posted online including Facebook.

Secretary Janet Tong, 45, described the apparition as “amazing”.

“It is so wonderful that our Mother has come to us in a hospital, where many of the sick are crying out for her help,” she said.

Several claimed the colour and position of the image also changed.

Businessman Sheree Rao, 21, who went up inside to get a close look at the window, said the image was only visible from the outside.

“I touched the glass, thinking it could be paint or something else. But there was nothing,’’ he added.

Student Nicole Jo Pereira, 20, said she believed the image was a call for people to do good deeds.

Teacher Kenneth Fong, 27, said he was sure of an image on the window. “But whether it’s from God, I don’t know.”

Photographs of the image, believed to have appeared several days ago, have gone viral on Facebook.

Access to the window from inside the building has been restricted by the hospital.

Catholic newsletter The Herald editor Rev Father Lawrence Andrew said the Catholic Church would withhold official comment until the image had been tested and verified by theologians and church authorities.

Catholics believe that Mary, as mother of Jesus Christ, is the Mother of God.

Malaysia Airports clarifies on the runway lighting incident at Kota Kinabalu International Airport

The closure of the Kota Kinabalu International Airport on Thursday, 25th October 2012 at 6.26 pm lasted until 9.30 pm Friday 26th October 2012

Approximately 6,000 passengers were stranded at the KKIA and other destinations in Malaysia as well as international flights, involving almost 40 flights

Malaysian Transport Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha

Sabah Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Musa Aman

This is the official statement of the incident by Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, MAHB.

On 25 October 2012 at 5.40pm, during normal runway inspection, the staff doing the inspection found that the runway lights were dim and not up to the required brightness. At 6.10pm the air traffic controller confirmed that the lights were dim.

As such, due to safety reasons, immediate action was taken by MAHB to request that the runway be closed for further investigation of the runway lights. All airlines were immediately informed of this closure.

The engineers straight-away proceeded to inspect all the runway lighting cables and suspected that the dim lights could be due to electrical current leakage in the old cables which are in the process of being replaced by the contractor. This is part of the overall upgrading of the airport facilities including terminal, runway, taxiway and apron under the Redevelopment Project of KKIA undertaken by the government to provide capacity for growth in air travel.

Efforts were made to identify the points of leakage in the 12 km cables. This process of identifying and rectifying the leakages took time. At 6am on 26 October 2012, all rectification works had to stop to allow the runway to be used for daylight operations which do not require runway lighting.

In the meantime, the sub-contractor was requested to immediately complete the installation of the new cables and lightings. However they could only commence work after the closure of the runway for night operations after 6pm. No work is allowed to be done on the runway during operations due to safety reasons.

As a contingency, it was decided that portable lights from various airports including TUDM be shipped to Kota Kinabalu. These portable lights were scheduled to arrive on flights prior to sunset to enable night operations on 26 October 2012. However, the arrival was hampered by bad weather. The full compliment of portable lights only arrived at 8.00pm. As a result of this the airport had to be closed for night operations from 6pm to 10pm.

However, the sub-contractor for the installation of the new cables and runway lights managed to connect and light-up the runway lights to enable the runway to be operational by 9.30 pm. The portable lights were therefore not required to be used.

The runway was declared safe for operations at 9.30pm on 26 October 2012 and was opened for commercial night flight operations. With the installation of this new cables and runway lightings and with the provision of back-up runway circuit, the operations are now running smoothly.

The number of flights affected in terms of diversion, delay and cancellation is 51 flights for the two nights. A total of 6,000 passengers were affected.

MAHB would like to thank Department of Civil Aviation, TUDM, Malaysia Airlines, Air Asia and other airlines for their support and cooperation during this critical period. Throughout the entire incident MAHB’s focus and priority was to minimize the disruption to the airlines and passengers, and everything possible was done to bring the runway to full operations as soon as possible.

Any inconvenience caused to airlines and passengers as a result of this is deeply regretted. MAHB would like to assure that with this new installation, operations are now running smoothly.

Meanwhile Malaysia's Transport Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha and Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman were enraged.

Datuk Seri Musa Aman said :

This incident should not have happened. The problem should not have taken so long to fix. It has inconvenienced thousands of travellers and may possibly have affected Sabah's image as a tourist destination. The State Cabinet is expecting a full report from MAB and measures to be taken to ensure that this doesn't happen again in the future.

Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha's official press statement on the incident :

RUNWAY BLACKOUT IN KOTA KINABALU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KKIA) WILL BE INVESTIGATED

PUTRAJAYA 27 OCTOBER 2012- The reasons behind the blackout of the KKIA airport runway last Thursday will be thoroughly investigated according to Dato’ Seri Kong Cho Ha, Minister of Transport, Malaysia. Due the blackout many flights were postponed and cancelled, Kong was extremely upset with the whole situation that had caused a lot of uneasiness and anger among passengers who had planned their long weekend to celebrate Hari Raya Haji with their families and loved ones.

Kong firmly stated that no one would be spared based on the findings of the investigation with regards to this occurrence. Stern action will be taken on the careless party, whoever they maybe, individuals, local authorities or the airport operator. If there are elements of sabotage in the outcome of the investigation, then, a police report will be made and the case will then be handled by the police.

Kong reiterated that nobody will be protected in this occurrence, action will be taken on the party responsible for this situation. Her also urged the airport operator to ensure Emergency Response Plans (ERP) are in place so that occurrences like this do not repeat itself.

All the best SABAH.

Penggusti WWE, CM Punk, menumbuk peminat gusti

Superstar gusti dunia, WWE, CM Punk kelihatan menumbuk seorang peminat yang disangkanya telah menolaknya sebanyak 2 kali sebelum itu, namun CM Punk tersilap orang, peminat itu bukannya menolak Punk, dia sekadar tersentuh kepala CM Punk.

Akibat penangan CM Punk, peminat itu pecah cermin matanya akibat ditumbuk 2 kali oleh Punk.

Nasib baik CM Punk tidak mengenakan teknik penamatnya, GTS atau Go To Sleep ke atas peminat itu, kalau tak gerenti masuk ICU Hospital hehehe.

All the best CM Punk, WWE dan dunia gusti.

WWE Superstar, CM Punk attacks fan, 8th october 2012

On Monday night, 8th October 2012 in Sacramento, California, WWE wrestler CM Punk apparently went off-script during a sequence with WWE chairman Vince McMahon and backhanded a fan in the stands. The initial assumption is that it was staged — even a heart attack, is initially suspect — but a WWE statement released Tuesday afternoon, 9th October 2012 to Yahoo! Sports makes it clear this was not part of the show:

"During last night's Raw televised event, WWE Superstar CM Punk exited the ring into the stands as part of the show. WWE security was unfortunately not in the appropriate place at the time. Given CM Punk's persona as a 'bad guy,' fans were naturally heckling him, but unfortunately a few fans began shoving him and one struck in him in the kidney and on the back. WWE regrets that proper security measures were not in place, and CM Punk apologizes for reacting in the heat of the moment. Other than this isolated incident, WWE always provides proper security to ensure the safety of our fans and our performers."

Amateur video of the event shows that Punk just flat-out lost his temper with fans badgering him. And, as is so often the case in these audience brawls, Punk apparently went after the wrong guy.

Laura Cole, a Sacramento CBS reporter, sought out the fan whom Punk decked. According to Cole's Twitter feed, the fan "says he never hit Punk," and that "his face is a little warm. … He also says Punk broke his glasses." Cole further noted that the fan was filing paperwork with local law enforcement.

So what went wrong here? As you can see in the above video, Punk was almost completely swarmed by fans in the stands. Still, he's got to figure that at a wrestling match, people might just be a little hyped up. So, yes, while a lack of WWE security might have played a role, fundamentally it's on Punk to keep in control.

All the best CM Punk.

Wawancara Lajim Ukin > Mengapa saya keluar UMNO

Apakah tiada sebab-sebab lain? Seperti pembangunan, contohnya.

Rakyat masih meronta-ronta mahu mendapatkan bekalan air bersih.

Sedikit contoh ini membuktikan bahawa kepimpinan Sabah adalah kepimpinan one man show.

Jika PR memperoleh Sabah, adakah Datuk calon Ketua Menteri?

Belum tahu lagi.
