Michael Learns to Rock at the Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia at 10.30 am on Friday 11th December 2009.
Left To Right - Kare Wanscher, Mikkel Lentz and the man himself - Jascha Richter!!!
Michael Learns to Rock, MLTR, is back in Malaysia with a bang.
The Danish supergroup will be performing a concert at the Dewan Canselor, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, UMS in Kota Kinabalu, at 8 pm on Saturday 12 December 2009.
After a marathon long haul flight from Denmark, MLTR arrived in Kota Kinabalu, late last night at around 12 midnight on Thursday 10 Dec 2009 and went straight to their official hotel - the 5 star Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort.
The next day at 10 am on Friday 11 December, MLTR had a press conference at the Hibiscus Room, Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort.
It was attended by the local media.
According to the group, Malaysia is their last destination for their concert this year as "Malaysia is special in their heart"...
MLTR has a very strong fan base in Malaysia and many parts of Asia...
Their hit songs like "25 minutes", "The Actor","Paint My Love", "Breaking my Heart", "That's why you go away" and many more superhits are still hugely popular in many parts of Asia, be it at the metropolitan cities or even in remote villages.
Heck, i even heard a young lad belting out "25 minutes too late" in Kadazan Dusun language while tapai-drinking in Pensiangan, one of the remotest district in Sabah, Malaysia!!!!
Above are pictures during MLTR Press Conference at the Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort.
According to Jascha Richter and co, they will be belting out songs from their latest album "Eternity" as well as their hit songs in the late 1990s...
So, Kota Kinabalu folks, what are you waiting for, this is a chance of a lifetime..
The last time MLTR performed in Kota Kinabalu was way back in 1996 or 1997 at the Likas Football Stadium....
Don't be late because you will regret the 25 minutes too late for a chance in your lifetime!!!!
To those who do not have the faintest idea of who Michael Learns To Rock is, well here are some videos :
How did it feel after finally meeting the people whose songs you've been singing along to for 16 years? Unbelieveable - and I shook hands with all of them!
The feeling cannot be described by words!!! You have to be physically there to experience this once in a life time moment!!! It's like the Milky Way Galaxy is fully yours!!!!!!!!!!!!
