KENYATAAN AKHBAR YB DATUK ROSNAH ABDUL RASHID SHIRLIN KETUA PERGERAKAN PUTERI UMNO MALAYSIA MENGENAI PENDEDAHAN SURAT TUN DR.

Benjamin Netanyahu

Ehud Barak

Yitzhak Rabin

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 Februari 2012 (sumber Berita Haria Online)

Dalam satu kenyataan hari ini, beliau berkata surat berkenaan ialah;

i) Surat daripada Dr Mahathir kepada Yitzhak Rabin, Perdana Menteri Israel, bertarikh 21 Disember 1993;

Terima kasih kerana membaca. Bye

Is Eden Aberjil a devil woman??

Is Eden Aberjil a devil woman??

Well, she is infamous now for posting controversial photos of herself as a member of the IDF or Israeli Defence Forces, posing with blind-folded and handcuffed Palestinian prisoners presumably in an Israeli jail.

The former Israeli female soldier, Eden Aberjil, posted photos on Facebook of herself in uniform smiling beside bound and blindfolded Palestinian prisoners.

Her act drew sharp criticism from the Israeli military and Palestinian officials.

Israeli news websites and blogs showed two photographs of the woman.

In one, she is sitting legs crossed beside a blindfolded Palestinian man who is slumped against a concrete barrier. His face is turned downwards, while she leans toward him with her face upturned.

Another shows her smiling at the camera with three Palestinian men with bound hands and blindfolds behind her.

The incident was a reminder of the fraught relations between Israeli soldiers and the West Bank Palestinians under their control.

Israeli soldiers have run into trouble on the social media sites like Facebook and YouTube before.

Most recently a group of combat soldiers were reprimanded for breaking into choreographed dance moves while on patrol in the West Bank town of Hebron. The dance featured prominently on YouTube.

Palestinian Authority spokesman Ghassan Khatib condemned the photos and said they pointed to a deeper malaise — how Israel's 43-year-old occupation of Palestinians has affected the Israelis who enforce it.

"This shows the mentality of the occupier," Khatib said, "to be proud of humiliating Palestinians. The occupation is unjust, immoral and, as these pictures show, corrupting."

The Israeli military also criticized the young woman, who Israeli news media and bloggers identified from her Facebook page as Eden Aberjil of the southern Israeli port town of Ashdod. No official confirmed her identity.

"These are disgraceful photos," said Capt. Barak Raz, an Israeli military spokesman. "Aside from matters of information security, we are talking about a serious violation of our morals and our ethical code and should this soldier be serving in active duty today, I would imagine that no doubt she would be court-martialed immediately," he told Associated Press Television News.

It was not clear whether the army could punish the woman, because she has finished her compulsory military service.

The comments by the woman and her friend in an exchange below one photograph suggested how casually the picture was treated, including jokes and sexual innuendoes.

"You're the sexiest like that," her friend wrote.

"I wonder if he's got Facebook!" the woman in the photograph responded. "I have to tag him in the picture!"

Eden Aberjil herself did not respond to reporters' questions on Monday 16 August 2010.

The photographs were a reminder of snapshots taken in 2003 by American soldiers at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq that showed Iraqi detainees naked, humiliated and terrified. In that case, some soldiers went to prison after the photos came to light.

The photographs of the Israeli soldier and the Palestinians, by contrast, show no overt physical abuse or coercion of the prisoners, although they are ridiculed in the comments between the soldier and her friends.

Palestinians are routinely handcuffed and blindfolded when they are arrested to stop them from trying to flee.

After Golda Meir, will it be Tzipi Livni???

Golda Meir (1898-1978)

After Golda Meir, will Tzipi Livni become the 2nd ever female Prime Minister of Israel???

Golda Meir (1898 – 1978) was Israel’s 4th Prime Minister and the 1st. female to ever hold that position.

Meir served as Israel's foreign minister from 1956 to 1966 before her appointment as Israel’s fourth prime minister in 1969 until 1974 when she was replaced by Yitzhak Rabin.

She was the leader of Israel’s Labour party and described as the Iron Lady in Israel politics and was once called “the best man in the government” by Israel first PM David Ben-Gurion.

Meir died in 1978 at the age of 80 years.

Livni, 50, married with 2 children, is the leader of Kadima party and is currently Israel’s Foreign Minister.

Tzipi Livni

She served as a Lieutenant in the IDF, Israel Defence Forces and was a former spy having worked for the elite Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations or Mossad for 2 years in the early 1980s.

Livni, is presently contesting in an election to choose the new Prime Minister of Israel.

Just a moment ago, she declared herself victory over Likud party presidential candidate, Benjamin Netanyahu.

With 99 % votes counted, Livni's Kadima leads Netanyahu's Likud with 28 seats against 27 seats.

Livni during her presidential campaign pledged for a more peaceful Israel-Palestine relationship, an effort lauded by US President Barack Obama.

She also reportedly offered more lands to the Palestinians.

But one wonders what Hamas and Fatah have in their mind of the new government in Tel Aviv.

A Tale of Two Gazas

The first tale of GAZA
________________

The ongoing bombardment, air and land assault by Israeli forces on Gaza has killed almost 500 people and injuring thousands others, many of them innocent civilians, child, women and eldery man who have nothing to do with the firing of rockets into Israel by Hamas, which triggered the more than week long attack by arguably the greatest army in the world.

By military strength, Hamas is no match to Israel.

Since Israel became a country in 1948, the U.S. has given $14.9 billion as at 2006, in military aid.
The total number of Israeli military manpower is 2,936,041 or almost 3 million.

Israel's formidable fighting machine includes an air force in which 85% of the 602 combat aircraft are American-built.
F-15 Eagles

F16 Falcons

Among them: 40 F-15 Eagles, 75 F-16 Fighting Falcons, 138 F-4E Phantoms (built by McDonell-Douglas) and 246 A-4 Skyhawks, each boasts a frightening set of deadly weapons including Gatling Guns, air to ground and air to air missiles and Rockets.

On the ground, the Israeli army has more than 3,500 tanks, of which 1,460 are from the U.S.

810 of them are highly advanced M-60s Heavy Tanks with a 105 mm main Gun.

and 650 more are M-48s Tanks equipeed with 90mm gun.
The IDF or Israeli Defence Forces also produced their own Tanks - The Merkava.
The 65 tonne Merkava has huge firepower through its primary weapon - a 120 mm gun. It is their main battle Tank..!!

Recently Israel has also added into its awesome arsenal - 11 new F-15s fighter jets, 800 more M113 personnel carriers, 200 self-propelled howitzers, 200 improved Hawk antiaircraft missiles and some 1,000 Maverick and Sidewinder missiles.

And Now.....

The second tale of Gaza or rather Gazza

____________________________

The second tale of Gaza or Gazza is not in Gaza, but rather in England.

Paul Gascoigne or better known as Gazza was one of England soccer superstar. He helped England reached the semifinal of the 1990 world cup in Italy – the best ever achievement since England became World Cup winner in 1966.

However after retirement, Gazza still hits the headlines of British and world Media because of his addiction to booze and drugs, which nearly killed him.

Even his 12 year old son, Regan, was reported to have said this “If I could wish, I would wish that he would go away from us. He's probably going to die soon” during a TV documentary shown on Channel 4.

But Gazza is determined to end that miserable life of his by staying sober for 1 month already….

We still remember what happened to Northern Ireland and Manchester United football legend – George Best… whose ravishing lifestyles of booze, drugs, girls and rock n roll had finally taken its tool.. Rest in Peace Mr Best..

And that concludes my tale of the Two Gazas….

Ends.
