William and Kate marry in front of 2 billion global TV audience

When i got married in 1997, only about 1,000 people attended the wedding and there was no live telecast on Global TV!!!

But on Friday 29 April 2011, 2 billion people watched on TV worldwide and another 500,000 people jammed the streets of London when Prince William married Kate Middleton.

The historic ceremony was truly regal in splendour at Westminster Abbey as huge crowds and a global TV audience and maybe aliens in other galaxies, watched Britain's monarchy pin its hopes on a new generation.

In the biggest royal celebration for three decades, since Willam's father, Prince Charles married Princess Diana in 1981.

Kate, as glamorous as the late Princess Diana, wearing an ivory and white satin wedding dress with long lace sleeves, a veil and a flowing train, exchanged vows with William, who wore a scarlet military tunic.

"I will," the future king and queen each pronounced solemnly, before William put a ring fashioned from a nugget of Welsh gold on her finger and the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams pronounced them man and wife.

William, 29, mouthed "You look beautiful" to his bride after she walked up the aisle to the soaring strains of a choral piece that was used at the wedding of William's late mother Diana to Prince Charles in 1981.

The absence of Diana, who died in a car crash in Paris in 1997, was keenly felt despite the joyful atmosphere of Friday's service, which also featured a hymn used at her funeral in the same abbey.

The absence of the Queen's mother who passed away on 31st March 2002 at the age of 101 years old, was also felt.

A sea of hundreds of thousands of people waved Union Jack flags in the streets outside while 1,900 guests including Mr Bean Rowan Atkinson, The Malaysian King and Queen, The Sultan of Brunei, footballer David Beckham and singer Elton John were invited to the service in the abbey.

Mr Bean - Rowan Atkinson - invited!!!

Notabaly absent because he was not invited is the world's most powerful man - US President, Barack Hussein Obama.

Other world leaders who were not seen at the Westminster Abbey because they are natural enemies of the British Empire include Libya's embattled leader - Muammar Gaddafi, North Korea's Kim Jong Ill and Cuba's Fidel Castro.

Kim Jong Ill - not invited

Fidel Castro - No way

Muammar Gaddafi - sorry bosss... no invitation card for you

Two billion people -- a third of the world's population -- are expected to have watched Diana's eldest son wed the commoner he began dating at St Andrews university in Scotland eight years ago.

It is Britain's richest display of pageantry since that wedding 30 years ago and offers Britain's royal family a chance at renewal after Charles and Diana's traumatic public split before her tragic death.

The couple will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, after Queen Elizabeth II, William's grandmother, bestowed the titles on them on the morning of the wedding. Related article: Royal couple's titles revealed

William Arthur Philip Louis -- as the second in line to the throne was called during the service -- arrived at the church 45 minutes early accompanied by his younger brother and best man Prince Harry.

Kate, 29, had waved to the crowd as she arrived at the abbey with her father Michael in a Rolls-Royce limousine. She took four minutes to walk down the aisle, which was lined with trees especially brought in to create the feel of an English garden.

Middleton walked up the aisle to The Introit, from the Latin meaning entrance, which was used as The Anthem in 1981. The first hymn -- "Guide me, O thou great redeemer", was the last sung at Diana's funeral 14 years ago.

William a Royal Air Force search and rescue helicopter pilot, winked and shared a joke with Kate's father after appearing to tell his bride she looked beautiful.

Kate, however, did not promise to obey her husband in her marriage vows -- following in the footsteps of Diana, who married Charles on July 29, 1981 at St Paul's Cathedral.

Charles and Diana divorced 15 years later.

Palace officials confirmed her dress was by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, the iconic British designer who committed suicide last year. Related article: Kate's dress by Sarah Burton (not related to the late Hollywood star - Richard Burton)!!

Fifty members of the royal family and dozens of foreign royals were due after William.

Hundreds of thousands of campers transformed The Mall, the wide boulevard leading to Buckingham Palace, into a sea of Union Jack flags.

Majority of the British thought the marriage would be successful because Kate is "much older than Diana was at the time, much more mature and they are marrying for love."

After the service, the newlyweds climbed into a horse-drawn open carriage to make the journey from the abbey to Buckingham Palace where the couple will follow tradition by appearing on the balcony with the royal family and kissing.

More than 8,500 journalists and technical staff are covering the wedding for a global audience.

The next morning on Saturday, 30th April 2011, the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a morning walk together as husband and wife for the first time.

Later, the newly wed royal couple left Buckingham Palace by helicopter, following a day and night of marriage celebrations.

They departed for an undisclosed location. They have asked the media for privacy and no details of a honeymoon have been released.

But, newsreports indicated that they are going to Canada.

Are they going to Malaysia??? Only Will and Kate know.

108-year-old wife tells secret to keep 38 year old hubby faithful to her

Wook Kundor is a 108 year old woman living in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia.

She is happily married to her husband, Mohd Noor Che Musa who is 70 years younger than her.

Infact, Mohd Noor is her 23rd husband..!!!!

Wook was married 22 times before but all her 22 husbands had already passed away.

So what makes a 38 year old man, faithful to her 108 year old wife??

Yesterday on sunday 1st August 2010, Wook Kundor told the local Malaysian media that it is her “killer massage” that she learned from her ancestors that keep her husband happily married to her.

The traditional massage is what is keeping her husband, glued to her side.

“I will massage him when he starts to talk about younger women. This will dissuade him from thinking about them,” she said when met at her house in Kampung Bukit Tok Bat in Kuala Berang.

Asked the technique of the massage, Wook refused to share her secret, but said the focal point of the massage was to concentrate on rubbing the sensitive parts of the body.

She said it was the same massage that she used to keep all her previous 22 husbands remain true to her until their death.

Wook also revealed that one of the golden rules in the traditional massage was to first effleurage (stroking movement in massage) the masseur before doing the same on the partner.

“It will usually take about an hour to complete the massage that will totally relax your partner. This will create a closer bond between husband and wife,” she said.

Apart from giving her husband regular massage, Wook also keeps him happy by cooking him delicious food.

She also avoids nagging her husband as she believes hen-pecking could lead to cracks in a marriage.

“I hear a lot of stories from my neighbours about wives who nag at their husbands. Nagging is bad for a marriage as men generally hate it,” she said.

Wook also said that she always made it a point to keep herself clean at all times and never failed to perform her daily prayers as that also helped to strengthen a marriage.

Asked how she was coping after Mohd Noor was released from Besut drug rehabilitation centre following 18 months of treatment, Wook said they were happier except for some financial constraints.

She said many people who had promised to secure employment for Mohd Noor after he was released had reneged on their words.

“But I told my husband not to give up and to keep looking. I fear that if he is not working, he will revert to hisdrug habit,” she said.

Mohd Noor was detained for drug abuse early last year.

The union between Wook and her much younger bridegroom five years ago grabbed worldwide media attention.

Well may you live happily ever after Wook Kundor and Mohd Noor..!!!

The first wedding in the world conducted by a Robot..!!

Fancy this. It is your wedding day and instead of a priest, the marriage ceremony was conducted by a non human - A Robot!!

This happened in Tokyo, Japan, very recently.

And yet this event marked another historic day for Japan as the venue and host of the world's first every wedding to be conducted by a robot.

The automated creature, known as the I-Fairy, oversaw the wedding of Tomohiro Shibata and Satoko Inoue.

The couple decided to use the robot as they are both connected with Japan's thriving robotics industry.

Since robots had brought them together in the first place, they said, having one officiate at their wedding was a natural choice.

During the ceremony, I-Fairy - which has flashing eyes and plastic pigtails - instructed the groom to lift the bride's veil for the kiss.

The wedding took part in a rooftop restaurant in the Japanese capital.

Anyone in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia dare to do this??

Is that marriage legal and bind?? and not null and void??? U choose....

Xia Xue (Wendy Cheng) is married.... so sad!!!

Pics sourced from Xia Xue blog.

Bye bye sunshine.. bye bye man.. Xia Xue is already married to her beau - the handsome American - Michael Sayre aka Mike in December 2009. I used to have a crush on her, that is why i am still blogging about Xia Xue marriage, even after almost 4 months passed since she tied the knots with Mike aka Mike Tyson!!!!

The glittering ceremony took place at a posh hotel in Singapore and i was not invited!!! hehehe

Well.... Xia Xue or Wendy Cheng is Singapore's top and most popular blogger.

She has won many accolades including Best Asian Blog and many many more awards.

Xiaxue, started blogging in April 2003 and by October 2008, her blog attracted some300,000 visitors per month. Singapore's National Library Board has added her to its electronic archives. By now, i think based on modest estimation, her blog could have atrracted some 1 million page views per month!!! She is definitely making money and getting a lot of perks, by blogging.

Compare that to the gadget blog Gizmodo which had almost 100 million pageviews in January 2009 alone, and fantastically profitable.

A personal-diary type blog, Dooce earns USD500K to USD1 million a year, which works out to much more than RM100,000 a month.

Tech blog TechCrunch earned USD3 million in 2007 and even more the next.

The Huffington Post raised USD25 million in 2008.

China top blogger, Xu Jinlei attracted some 3 million hits on her blog on a monthly basis.

Malaysia's top blogger like Kenny Sia reportedly earned more than RM10,000 per month via Nuffnang alone.

Well Xiau Xue also briefly became a celebrity blogger for The Straits Times newspaper, a Maxim columnist, and co-starred in a sort of reality TV series, Girls Out Loud.

She also did a fortnightly series, Xiaxue's Guide To Life.

If you want to know about blinging your long nails with crystals, getting a tongue piercing, losing weight, cooking live crabs, shopping for slutty clothes or fitting out your totally pink Princess Room on the cheap, or turning your hair into gold, or throwing someone off the Eiffel tower, or recognising the looks of those "ham sap" guys, Xiaxue is your girl.

"Singaporean (Chinese) guys," she wrote, "like girls who keep quiet and nods in agreement to everything they say, rather than a girl who speaks up for her own opinions. They like girls who are weak, diminutive and vulnerable, not girls who are strong and can protect themselves." They must also dress modestly and be virgins.

Xiaxue is the opposite of this Singaporean ideal girls. She's bitchy, swears, wears "chio" (pretty but provocative) clothes, writes in intimate detail about things like panty liners and panties, and flaunts her American boyfriend turned husband, Mike. It provokes hundreds of comments.

She also generates controversy by attacking other bloggers. One famous post dealt with the Top Seven Most Disgusting Bloggers in Singapore, including Xiaxue. She attacked herself for being a fake, short, fat and ugly. "She is so hao lian [arrogant] of her stupid angmoh [caucasian monkey] boyfriend," she wrote. "SPG!" Sarong Party Girl: the ultimate insult.

As you'd expect, most of Xiaxue's readers – around 70% – live in Singapore or Malaysia. For the rest of us, she's a virtual tourist spot, providing an uncensored, unmediated and somewhat voyeuristic peek into a different society. Well, every nation has their own Xiau Xue in the bloggers world.

All the best Xia Xue... i still love you..

When you've been married too long!!!!

Three women -- one engaged, one married and one a mistress --- are chatting about their relationships and decided to amaze their men.

All three buy black leather bras, stiletto heels, and masks for their eyes.

After a few days, they meet over lunch to compare notes.

The engaged women says:

The other night when my boyfriend came over, he found me in the black leather bodice, tall stilettos, and a mask. He said, "you are the woman of my life. I love you". Then we made love all night long.

The mistress says:

I met my lover at his office and I was wearing the leather bodice, heels, mask over my eyes and a raincoat. When I opened the raincoat, he didn't say a word -- but we had wild sex all night.

The married woman says:

I sent the kids to my mother's house all excited about having alone time with my husband. Had the lights dim, candles going, I was wearing the leather bodice, black stockings, stilettos heels and a mask over my eyes.

As soon as he came to the door and saw me and said,

"What's for dinner, BATMAN!!!!!!!!"
