I am a diehard Liverpool fan from Malaysia, i supported Liverpool even before i was born.

To be strong again, Liverpool needs to kick out the useless 35 million pound stiker Caroll and the stupid goalkeeper Reina who cant even save easy balls and easy goals (just like the 2nd goal scored by Van Persie in the 1-2 defeat by Arsenal recently), Reina was not alert enough, any goalkeeper in the world can prevent that ball from going in by blocking it with any parts of your body. Reina can even use his balls to stop that ball. yet Reina slept!!!

Also for a formidable strike force, Liverpool and Dalglish need to bring back Torres from Chelsea to Anfield and buy a very good striker in the form of Sergio Aguero from Man City. This three-some strike force of Suarez, Aguero and Torres can easily beat Barcelona's strike-force and equals the legendary Brazil's 1970 World Cup winning squad. Please Dalglish, please listen to a die hard Liverpool fan...

This match again proved that the 35 million pound sterling Liverpool striker Andy Caroll is damn useless. I hereby plead with Sir Kenny Dalglish to just get rid of that meaningless pony-tailed ugly looking, football disaster. However Hail to The Reds, the 2005 King of Europe, the Star of England and the pride of Merseyside....

Hari ini Isnin 27 Februari 2012, hari paling menggembirakan buat jutaan peminat Liverpool di seluruh dunia termasuk saya di Kiulu, Sabah, Malaysia.

Liverpool juara Piala Liga atau Carling Cup, tewaskan pasukan yang diwakili jutawan Malaysia, Cardiff City dalam final di Stadium Wembley, London pada awal pagi tadi.

Meskipun pemain Cardiff menyarung jersi yang tertera perkataan negara kita Malaysia di depan dan belakang, namun sokongan saya tidak berbelah bahagi ke atas Liverpool, pasukan yang saya amat minati sejak sebelum saya dilahirkan ke dunia ini lagi.

Liverpool menjaringkan 2 gol pada masa permainan sebenar termasuk masa tambahan menerusi Martin Skrtel dan penyerang gantian dari Belanda yang menggantikan the useless Andy Caroll, Dirk Kuyt.

Kedudukan selepas masa tambahan 2-2.

Namun Liverpool menang penalti 3-2 meskipun penalti Steven Gerrard dan Charlie Adams tidak menerjah gawang.

Cardiff pula terlepas atau miss 3 penalti termasuk penalti terakhir yang diambil pemain bernama Gerrard juga yang berasal dari Liverpool iaitu Anthony Gerrard.

So nampaknya 2 Gerrard miss penalti.

Apapun Tahniah Liverpool, ini baru permulaan untuk sesuatu yang menakjubkan di musim ini. Percayalah.

Liverpool were back in the old routine, winning trophies. But this was hardly the most stellar of displays. Some of the investment in underperforming players has yet to be repaid. Andy Carroll (£35 million) was poor, Jordan Henderson (£20 million) even poorer. Downing somehow won the man-of-the-match honours when Skrtel was vastly superior, holding the defence together at times.

Sunday was a reminder of Kenny Dalglish’s impact, uniting the club, giving the team more confidence, but it also demonstrated how much work still remained. Sober reflections will have been few last night. Liverpool’s players and supporters were in party mood. As the champagne sprayed through the air, the Wembley DJ ran through Liverpool’s favoured songs from Ring of Fire to You’ll Never Walk Alone. And so the day had concluded as it began with the singing of this Rodgers and Hammerstein classic before it was all aboard this crazy carousel of a Carling Cup final. Cardiff fans were in terrific voice. They threw beach-balls around, booed Luis Suárez when his name was announced, applauded Craig Bellamy and held up a banner stating “Don’t Worry About A Thing”.

Kes Luis Suarez, Patrice Evra juga harus dipersalahkan

Inilah perlawanan Liverpool menentang Manchester United di Anfield pada 15 Oktober 2011 yang membawa pengantungan kepada penyerang sensasi Liverpool dari Uruguay, Luis Suarez (kiri, gambar atas) kerana dikatakan melemparkan kata kata berunsur perkauman ke atas pertahanan Manchester United, Patrice Evra dari Perancis (kanan, gambar atas)

Perlawanan itu berakhir 1-1.

Akibatnya, Suarez digantung 8 perlawanan dan di denda 40,000 paun sterling.

Persoalannya, Evra si hitam itu juga harus dipersalahkan dan digantung 10 perlawanan dan didenda 100,000 pound sterling. Ini kerana Suarez mungkin diprovokasi oleh si hitam Evra sehingga menyebabkannya bertindak sedemikian.




Kita pasti tidak lupa peristiwa pada final Piala Dunia FIFA 2006 di mana legenda Perancis, Zinedine Zidane menanduk pertahanan Itali, Marco Materrazi.

Zidane bertindak sedemikian kerana Materazzi tak habis habis memperovokasi Zidane dengan kata kata kurang enak.



Jadi dalam kes ini, Evra juga harus dipersalahkan dan dikenakan tindakan tegas.

Liverpool is set to lose Luis Suarez for 8 matches!!!

This was the match in question where Liverpool and Uruguay's mercurial striker, Luis Suarez reportedly racially abused Manchester United's Patrice Evra.

The match ended 1-1, it was held in Anfield, Liverpool's home on October 15th 2011.

Nobody heard what Suarez said of Evra, not even the referee. Only God, Suarez and Evra knew.

And for that, Suarez was banned for 8 matches and fined 40,000 pound sterling.

And for this, Liverpool is set to lose their star striker for a lengthy spell following the FA’s disciplinary action over his racism charges. Do you agree?

To me.. Hell No.

We must also investigate who started the abusive remarks. It could be Patrice Evra himself. Maybe Evra insulted Suarez first.

Look at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Final between winner Italy and France.

France's Zinedine Zidane head-butted Italy's Marco Materazzi because the Italian insulted Zidane first.





So in this case, it is possible that Evra insulted Suarez first and Evra deserves a 10 matches ban as well and fined maybe 60,000 pound sterling!!

Suarez is no ordinary player. He is among the best striker in the world, having helped Uruguay to qualify all the way into the 2010 World Cup semifinal, and winning the 2011 Copa America at the expenses of Brazil and Argentina.

And who is Evra, he is not a great player.

Suarez said that the decision had hit him hard.

"Today (Tuesday) is a very difficult and painful day for both me and my family. Thanks for all the support, I'll keep working!" tweeted the 24-year-old Uruguayan international striker.

Meanwhile the stupid and ugly Evra had revealed immediately after the match that Suarez had repeatedly abused him.

"I was very upset," the stupid Evra said. "In 2011 you can't say things like this. He knows what he said, the ref knows it, and it will come out."

Rampant Liverpool beats Bolton 3-1, 27th August 2011

Liverpool is back at the top of the English Premier League when the Reds beat Bolton, 3-1 at home in Anfield, on Saturday 27th August 2011.

It was the second successive wins for Liverpool, the pride of Merseyside, after beating Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates on Saturday, 20th August 2011.

Liverpool first match for the 2011/2012 season ended with a 1-1 draw with Sunderland.

This 2 wins and 1 draw out of 3 games is very brilliant for a revitalised Liverpool squad, after a disastrous season opening matches last season.

Without top striker and Spanish World Cup winner, Fernando Torres who moved to Chelsea for 50 million pound sterling, last season, Liverpool finds a perfect replacement in the form of Uruguyan superstar striker, Luiz Suarez.



Suarez (picture above) is no ordinary striker, he is world class and at the same level if not better than Torres. Suarez reminds me of the great West Germany legendary striker, Gerd Muler nicknamed Der Bomber and the world's best player, Diego Maradona.

To me, Suarez has the qualities of Gerd Muller and Diego Maradona combined.

In the first 3 of Livepool matches, Suarez scored 2 great goals.

Suarez also helped his country, Uruguay winning the 2011 Copa America, disposing the likes of Brazil and Argentina en route to lifting the coveted title as South American best and champion!!

Suarez alongside Diego Forlan also helped Uruguay into the 2010 World Cup semifinal, losing to Holland in the last 4.

Well in the Liverpool vs Bolton match, Suarez again continues to be thorn inside the opponents defence.

Liverpool's opening goal came on 15 minutes when Jussi Jaaskelainen brilliantly denied Stewart Downing following a sublime Luis Suarez cross, but Bolton could not fully clear their lines and Jordan Henderson rifled an excellent finish into the top corner.

Any chance Bolton had of getting back into the game was snuffed out in the space of a couple of minutes in the second half as Liverpool extended their lead from one goal to three.

First it was Martin Skrtel who made it 2-0 with a powerful header from a corner on 52 minutes, before Charlie Adam fired in a low shot from the edge of the area for his debut goal for Liverpool since moving in from Blackpool.

Bolton grabbed a late consolation thanks to Ivan Klasnic but the final whistle blew moments later to leave Liverpool top of the table on goal difference ahead of Sunday's 28th August 2011 action.

The home team maintained a ferocious tempo from the kick-off with Suarez, preferred to Andy Carroll up front, at the heart of almost all their attacking play.

With another new player in Downing also influential, Liverpool looked a different proposition from the Roy Hodgson side which started the last campaign so sluggishly.

For Bolton defeat was a reality check after a promising start to the season.

With this win, Liverpool has won 2 out of 3 EPL matches, drawing one, scoring 6 goals against 2 with 7 points.

Liverpool teaches Malaysia a football lesson. Liverpool 6-3 Malaysia, Saturday 16 July 2011

On Saturday 16th July 2011, Liverpool, the 5 times European Champion and 18 times English Premier League champions, trashed the Malaysian national side, 6-3 in a friendly match at the national Stadium, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

The Malaysians were hammered 0-4 by Arsenal a few days earlier.

The Malaysians who have never qualified into the world cup final were handed a sound beating by the Reds, The 2005 King of Europe and the Pride of Merseyside.

Mind you, the scoreline will be much bigger had Liverpool's manager Sir Kenny Dalglish and top striker Luis Suarez joined the Reds in that match.

Dalglish was away in England finalising the signing of Stuart Downing while Suarez, the Uruguyan international striker was involved in the 2011 Copa America in Agentina.

Coincidently, the match was held at the same time when Malaysia's Prime Minister, Najib Razak was away in London. Najib is an avid Manchester United fan.

Charlie Adam, who joined from Blackpool early July 2011, made his starting debut for Liverpool and was at the heart of the team's first-half attacking moments. He scored with a twice-taken penalty in the 24th minute.

Malaysian captain and dead ball specialist, Shafiq Rahim equalized near halftime with a superb free kick.

The half time ended 1-1.

Liverpool assistant manager Steve Clark made 11 substitutions at the break.

7 goals were scored in an astonishing final 28 minutes of the game.

Liverpool's duo David Ngog and Maxi Rodriguez both scored twice with Dutch international Dirk Kuyt adding the other goal for the visitors in the 93rd minute.

Ngog who came on for Carroll put Liverpool ahead in the 67th minute, taking advantage of a defensive lapse to knock the ball home from close range beating Malaysia's top goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat.

If his first goal had an element of luck, the second was a beauty — Ngog blasting the ball into the net while on the run two minutes later.

Maxi Rodriguez, the Argentine international made it four for the Reds in the 74th, coming in from the right to convert a cross from Emiliano Insua.

Malaysia's top striker, Mohamad Safee Mohamad Sali, was a reserve as he was carrying an injury.

But he came on in the last 20 minutes of the game to make it 4-2 in the 79th minute after added another goal two minutes later.

Rodriguez, however, nodded the ball into the net in the 90th minute from close range off a cross by Kuyt.

In the 93rd minute, Kyut final burst through the defense in injury time scored the last and 6th goal for the five-time European champions.

Liverpool defeated China's Guanghong Sunray Cave 4-3 earlier on Wednesday 13 July 2011.

Meanwhile Malaysia earlier lost 0-4 to another English giant, Arsenal at the Bukit Jalil stadium.

So in 2 matches in Asia, Liverpool scored an impressive 10 goals but the Reds' leaky defence conceded 6 goals.

This kind of mistakes must not happen in the top flight of British football if Liverpool wants to be champions of England and Europe again.

"We still have a lot of work to do. It's early in the preseason and the players are not quite sharp yet," Liverpool assistant coach Steve Clarke said. "It was a great game and the Malaysian boys were very aggressive but fair.

"We let in another three goals today but it's not just the defense we have to work on. I'm sure the boys will be up to the mark in four weeks' time when we kick off the season."

Malaysia was thrashed 4-0 by Arsenal earlier this week, and its coach K.Rajagobal said his team had learned a lot from both games in preparation for a two-legged World Cup qualifier against Singapore on July 23 and July 28.

"I told the players we had to be aggressive and we worked real hard," he said. "There will be some players who will be elated that we scored three times against a top club, but others will be sad we conceded six times. There were sloppy goals and I'm not too happy about that."

Manchester United fan forced to take off shirt at Liverpool training session in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

This happened when a Manchester United fan showed up at a Liverpool training session in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 15th, 2011.

A Manchester United fan pushed his luck a little too far when he showed up at the Liverpool training session at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil wearing the Red Devils kit.

Liverpool fans saw red and he was lucky to get away with only losing his shirt.

A video captured at the training session on Thursday and later uploaded on YouTube showed a young man clad in his Rooney No 10 jersey, surrounded by hordes of Liverpool fans, including women, seated directly in front of him.

He resisted attempts to strip him, but his jersey was eventually lifted off in front of a crowd yelling “Buka! Buka!” (“Take it off!”).



He refused to put on the Liverpool jersey, even as it was forcibly put over his head, and sat stone-faced and shirtless for a moment before he was led away from the jeering fans.

However, the Reds still failed to get him to wear their kit as he was later seen in the video wearing a yellow Malaysia jersey.



Liverpool fans who were nearby as the spectacle unfolded said he was asking for trouble.

“He can come to watch, but he should have known better with the rivalry between the two clubs,” said Zuliantie Dzul, 29.

“He was showing off his jersey, making sure everybody saw him,” said Tommy Lim, 27.

I myself is a Liverpool fan since birth and i couldn't understand why this particular Manchester United fan deliberately offended Liverpool fans.

Did he know that Liverpool is the Champion of Europe, Darling of England, Pride of Merseyside, Star of England and managed to turn Istanbul into Turkish Delights in the 2005 Champions league final???

Did that Manchester United fan know that Liverpool is an 18 time winner of the English Premier League and a 5 times winner of the European Cup/Champions League?

Fernando Torres "EL NINO" promises not to celebrate if he scores against Liverpool at stamford Bridge on sunday 6th February 2011

Fernando Torres left Liverpool in January 2011 to join Chelsea for a record British transfer fee of £50 million, making him the fourth most expensive player in history.






Fernando Torres nicknamed El Nino has scored many spectacular goals for Liverpool. Between 2007 and 2011, the spanish super stiker has scored 65 goals in 102 appearances for Liverpool.

Torres also scored 26 goals in 82 appearances for spain, including the winning goal in Spain's 1-0 victory over Germany in the Euro 2008 final.

Torres has promised not to celebrate if he scores against former club Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, 6th February 2011, out of respect for their fans, but he also removed himself from his status as Anfield hero by claiming he "never kissed the badge" while at the Reds.

While many Liverpool fans are unhappy with their former idol's £50million move away from Anfield, Torres bluntly stated he was simply a professional footballer with his own ambitions and that the only club in his heart is Atletico, who he left for Liverpool.

"I never kissed the Liverpool badge,'' he said. "Never. No. Kissed the badge? No. I never did. I never did when I was at Atletico Madrid, and I love Atletico, my former club. I see some players doing that when they join a club but the romance in football has gone. It's a different thing now. People are coming and leaving. When you are joining a club you want to do the best for yourself and that club and that's all.

"Some people like to kiss the badge. They can do it. I only want to score goals and do my job and achieve all the targets the team has. When I was born in Madrid I was not a Liverpool fan or a Chelsea fan. I was only an Atletico Madrid fan. I still am. Maybe it's the only badge I will kiss if I have to kiss one.''

Many have speculated as to the sort of reception Torres will receive from his former supporters, but he is sure that on the field at least, he will be given a friendly welcome, citing captain Steven Gerrard as one who has wished him the best with his new club.

He added: "He was one of the first ones who called me and said if I left, if I stayed, he would help me and support me. Maybe because he was in that situation first. He's been a very good friend and team-mate from the first to the last day. He only wanted the best for me and said he'd agree with whatever decision I made.''

He added: "I think 'traitor' makes no sense. I played three very good seasons there, left massive money there, lots of goals, good performances. I'm very happy with everything I did there. Maybe it's too soon to ask for a good reception. I'm not expecting that. But it would be a surprise for me if I get a very bad reception.''

Fernando Torres has claimed Liverpool's broken promises over the sales of their key players were to blame for his move to Chelsea.

Torres moved to Stamford Bridge in a British record £50 million deal on transfer deadline day and is now set to make his debut against Liverpool. The Spanish striker has spoken at length about the reasons for his decision, but has now revealed that the motivating factor for his transfer was the 'message' sent by selling Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid and Javier Mascherano to Barcelona.

''I said that at that moment, I didn't think I would play for another club - because at that moment Liverpool were giving me what they promised ... but not now,'' he said.

''I think one of the important points is in my first two seasons at the club, they played in the semi-finals of Champions League and finished second in the Premier League, very close to Manchester United.

''Then we were very, very close to being one of the top teams for a long time because everyone was together and everyone was moving in the right direction.

''But when you let Alonso and Mascherano leave, that is a clear message. It was important, not so much for me, but for the club.''

No religious ban on Manchester United jerseys in Malaysia, says Mufti

The disputed football jerseys include that of Brazil, Portugal, Serbia, England, Manchester United, Liverpool and Barcelona because the emblems feature among others The Red Devils, Cross, Betting company and Alcoholic drinks!!!!

But to me, football is football and religion is religion. They are 2 very very very separate things and issues. No sane football supporters will suddenly convert to other religion from their respective religions on seeing their teams actions.

No logic thinking football supporters will suddenly worship the devil whenever Manchester United win.

KUALA LUMPUR: There is no “religious ban” on Manchester United jerseys despite statements by several prominent Islamic scholars urging Muslims not to don the Premier League club’s shirts because the emblem features a devil.

Perak mufti Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria said jerseys with devils, crosses or skulls promoted the wrong values for Muslims but that did not mean they should be banned.

“A fatwa on the matter is not necessary as it is clearly wrong for Muslims to wear shirts with devils and other unIslamic symbols because it is against the teachings of Islam,” he said yesterday.

Apart from Manchester United, which is also known as The Red Devils, other football teams whose crests carry images deemed unIslamic like the cross are Brazil, Portu­gal, Serbia, Barcelona and Norway.

“In Islam, Satan is our enemy ... but I believe Satan is also an enemy of the non-Muslims.

“We advise people not to wear them,” said Harussani.

He added that Muslims had no reason to wear and glorify symbols that promoted wrong values.

Harussani said other ulama and mufti shared his opinion but they did not plan to pass any edict to ban the attire either.

Many Muslim football fans, he said, were actually unaware of the images on the emblems.

His view was shared by Johor Religious Council adviser Datuk Nooh Gadot, who had issued similar advice to Muslims on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, several Malaysian football fans have shown the “red card” to the advice by the ulama.

They voiced disapproval over social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

“What am I going to do with all my Manchester United jerseys? And my sons’ jerseys?” said a Twitter user.

Some even went to the extent of accusing the ulama of supporting Liverpool, Manchester United’s archrival.

Manchester United Malaysia Fan Club, which boasts 7,000 members, when contacted, declined to comment.

Checks at various sports retail outlets in shopping malls revealed that the famous red jerseys of the club were still on sale.

Sales personnel on duty said the new version of the club’s attire was selling like hot cakes as it had arrived just a few days ago after its global launch on July 15.

Tears on the Tyne as Newcastle are relegated

Despite boasting some of the finest players in England, including 2001 European Footballer of the year, Michael Owen, Newcastle United's 16-year stay in the top flight of English football, ended in the tamest fashion possible as they dropped into the Championship with a 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa.

Aston Villa showed Newcastle no mercy.

The result means Australia's international striker, Mark Viduka once again has to find another club if he wants to play at the Premier League.

A few years ago, Viduka left Leeds United for another club after Leeds was also relegated.


What will happen to Michael Owen?? Owen was once a feared striker in the world, his 1998 World Cup spectacular goal against Argentina was one of the best in the history of the tournament.

Had he remained at Liverpool, Owen would have tasted glory including the 2005 champions league winner trophy when Liverpool trounced AC Milan in the final.

But Owen chose to join Real Madrid instead who at that times already boasted great players like Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos, David Beckham, Raul and others.

His stay at Real Madrid was cut short and Owen joined Newcastle and he seemed lost.

In yesterday's match, Damien Duff's unfortunate own goal - deflecting in Gareth Barry's 20-yard shot seven minutes before the interval - ensured Alan Shearer's mission to save Newcastle from relegation ended in devastating failure.

Newcastle's performance was a prime example of why they have failed to survive this season, lacking any fire and urgency despite the scale of the prize on offer if they escaped.

And seconds before referee Chris Foy blew the whistle on Newcastle's Premier League existence, defender David Edgar summed up a desperate day when he was sent off for his second bookable offence after fouling Ashley Young.

Newcastle had opportunites to grasp at a lifeline in the first half, with Obafemi Martins firing off target and Mark Viduka having a shot cleared off the line by Carlos Cuellar.

But when Newcastle needed to find inspiration in the second half, all that was on offer was an almost passive acceptance of their decline as they failed to exert any serious pressure on Villa - at times seeming barely aware of the fate that awaited them if they lost.

Michael Owen made an appearance as substitute midway through the second half, but he made no impact and barely touched the ball. It now appears relegation will almost certainly mark the end of his Newcastle career.

Shearer led the applause for Newcastle's heartbroken fans as the despair of relegation sunk in - and it was clear their affection for the Tyneside icon has not diminished despite this bitter end to his spell in charge this season.

Owner Mike Ashley must now try to persuade Shearer to stay on and provide some semblance of stability to this most dysfunctional of clubs as they attempt to rebuild and reclaim their place in English football's elite.

Shearer may have been the manager when they dropped into the Championship, but the damage was largely done before he attempted to come to the rescue.

And Newcastle's hierarchy must now indulge in serious soul-searching after a season that saw Kevin Keegan's reign as manager end in acrimony and Joe Kinnear's surprise temporary appointment, which ended prematurely after he suffered health problems.

Chris Hughton and Colin Calderwood could not stop the rot, and the task of reviving Newcastle proved beyond Shearer.

For now, though, Newcastle can only try and digest the disappointment of relegation - and accept that they have been the architects of their own downfall.

It will be a summer of upheaval for whoever takes charge, with a collection of highly-paid players, led by Owen, likely to quit the club.

Owen was only fit enough to take a place on the bench as Newcastle went in search of the result that would preserve their Premier League status - but Shearer's side were lively in attack during the opening exchanges.

Villa keeper Friedel almost let Duff's deflected shot slip in and Cuellar smuggled Viduka's goal-bound shot off the line as Newcastle pressed for an early breakthrough.

Martins also volleyed over the top when he found space 12 yards out in the penalty area, with boss Shearer showing obvious frustration on the sidelines as another chance came and went.

Newcastle, however, were nowhere near as convincing at the back and Fabricio Coloccini was regularly threatened with embarrassment by Gabriel Agbonlahor's raw pace.

Craig Gardner brought a fine fingertip save from Steve Harper before Villa took the lead seven minutes before the interval, helped by a liberal sprinkling of good fortune.

Barry's shot was struck with power, but it was a crucial deflection off Duff that took it out of the reach of Harper and into the bottom corner of the net.

Newcastle's fans, who were in ecstasy when news of Manchester United's goal at Hull filtered through, were stunned into silence as their Villa counterparts celebrated.

There was still time for another opportunity for Newcastle before the interval, with Martins sending a glancing header just wide from Nicky Butt's free-kick.

Newcastle could not apply any pressure in the early stages of the second half, leaving Shearer to make his first change after 56 minutes. Jose Enrique replaced Peter Lovenkrands, leaving Duff to move forward into a more familiar attacking role on the left-flank.

And Shearer swiftly followed this move with the introduction of Owen, giving the injury-plagued England striker the opportunity to possibly end an unfulfilling spell on Tyneside with a flourish.

Barry then missed the chance that would have condemned Newcastle to Championship football. He robbed Butt 20 yards out, but then sent a curling shot inches wide with Harper helpless.

Newcastle were surprisingly lacking any sense of real urgency, and Shearer played his final card with 20 minutes left by sending on Shola Ameobi for the tiring Viduka.

Carew then contrived to waste another opportunity to finish off Newcastle when he somehow failed to find the target after being set up by Agbonlahor six yards out.

Newcastle, despite the increasing desperation of their situation, were offering nothing and Ashley Young fired just over the top after a powerful run.

Enrique's speculative cross almost spared Newcastle in the dying seconds - but it drifted agonisingly wide and referee Foy's final whistle was the catalyst for predictable tears among travelling supporters.

Well, he did that 2 consecutive times already, the 4-4 draw with Chelsea at the quarter final stage of the Champions League and the 4-4 draw at home to Arsenal at the recent English Premier League match.





Well i am a diehard Liverpool fan.

I even supported Liverpool long before i was even born in this world.

But the current form of this guy called Jose Reina is pathetic.

His 'Bozo the clown' performance during that 2 games had annihilated and broke millions of Liverpool fans hearts in the entire universe who really hope that this time Liverpool can once again be crowned King of Europe, the last time in 2005 and also King of England, the last time was 19 years ago..

Damn you Reina. You let in 8 goals in 2 matches.

Some of the goals can be saved even by me.

Look, if the ball comes straight at you, you will have 90 % chances of keeping it out from crossing the goal line.

Even at 300 km per hour, you can still do something with the ball, either parry it or punch it out of danger, except of course when it comes at you at supersonic bullet speed.

But Reina cannot even save a straight forward ball.

He of course can be excused it the ball was aimed at the far post, far right or far left, but not straight at him..

Look at Andrei Arshavin 3rd goal for Arsenal during the 4-4 draw at Anfield, the ball went straight to Reina and yet he completely missed it. He chose to dive low instead of using his legs or other parts of his body to clear the ball safely.

Reina, don't you know that apart from your 2 hands, you can use any parts of your body to block the ball from entering the net. You can use your head, body, legs and even your own balls to stop the ball.

But you are useless and gutless and brainless.

Had you used your legs to block that Arshavin 3rd goal, Liverpool can be assured of victory and the 2008/2009 English Premier League title. Remember the last time Liverpool crowned as King of England was wayback in the 1989-1990 season, while Manchester United has won it countless times..


Look at Arshavin 3rd goal here - most goalkeepers in the world can save it.

If Liverpool can't win the title this season, i blame it on you Reina..

What is the use of your fellow countryman, Liverpool super striker Fernando Torres scoring 100 goals if you let in 150 goals?? it's useless isn' it?

So to the Liverpool bosses, i think Reina should go and go back to Spain to where he belongs. Yes, thank you for all his deeds like helping Liverpool win the 2005 Champions League, but you have to go this time Reina.

Liverpool should look at traditions.

Traditionally Spain only produces good and talented strikers and attackers and midfielders like Torres, Raul, Zarra, David Villa, Cesc Fabregas but never world class defensive players and goal keepers.

Instead, Italy, Russia and Holland are countries that traditionally produce very good and super world class goalkeepers.

Just name them - Lev Yashin, Gianlugi Buffon, Gianluca Pagliuca, Dino Zoff, Rinat Dasayey, Van Der Sar etc

Apart from Reina, other useless Liverpool players should also be replaced.


The pathetic Dirk Kuyt (what a name!!)

A player like Dirk Kuyt should be kicked out and replaced with truly world class strikers like Lionel Messi, Andrei Arshavin, Kaka, Luca Toni and Robinho and Frank Ribery.

Dirk Kuyt can't even dribble past one person. He only uses his speed but he has no dribbling skills. Many times, he chose to run straight like a mad bull at the opposing defenders instead of rounding them or shoot straight into a sea of legs instead of finding an opening.

Players like Lukas and Arbeloa should also be kicked out. Liverpool is only wasting taxpayers and fans money to pay these 3rd class players like Lukas & Arbeola, Reina and Dirk Kuyt.

The only truly world class players in the current Liverpool squad are Torres, Steven Gerrard and Javier Mascherano. No not even Yossi Benayoun.

The Defence department needs overhaul too.

2006 FIFA World Player of the year, Italian defender and World Cup Winner and captain - Fabio Cannavaro is a good bet to strenghten the leaky defence.

I am not saying that Liverpool must buy all the best players in the world or to have a frightening lineup with the likes of Pele, Maradonna, Puskas, George Best, Zico, Mario Kempes, Gerd Muller, Alfredo D'Stefano, Didi, Vava or Garrincha, but the current squad needs to be freshen up, enhanced and reinforced in all aspects.

For the record, Liverpool won the English Premier League titles and European Cup many many times in the past because of the presence of gifted world class players during that era.

Most notably, Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness, Terry McDermott, Ian Rush, Alan Kennedy, John Barnes and many more.

Liverpool.... what is wrong with you?????

Liverpool vs Chelsea – that explosive match between the English Premier League, EPL current no. 2 and no.3 team is taking place now on 1st February 2009 at Anfield, Liverpool homeground.

Before Christmas last year, Liverpool had been very promising… Topping the EPL, 5 points clear of its nearest rival…

But by now 1st February 2009, Liverpool is trailing Manchester United and Chelsea in the table.

Whatever it is, Liverpool BIG match against Chelsea is a must WIN situation…

After a disappointing run of 7 draws in the last 10 league matches which saw Liverpool slip into 3rd place, Liverpool fans around the globe will definitely see red if The Reds could only afford a draw or worse, a defeat in today’s match

A draw or a defeat means The Reds technically can kiss goodbye to the title chase.

Under Rafael Benitez as Manager since the 2004/2005 season, Liverpool did taste success when they won the Champions Leauge in 2005 – defeating AC Milan on penalties after both teams were tied 3-3 after extra time, in Istanbul.

With that historic come from behind win dubbed “Mayhem in Istanbul turns into Turkish Delight, Hails to the Reds, You Will Never Walk Alone” – Liverpool was crowned King of Europe again as well as Darling and Star of England.

For the record, Liverpool is a 5 times winners of the European Cup and 18 times Champions of the old English Division One, their last reign as Champion of England was wayback in 1990. (at that time, Manchester United could only finish 13th in the league..!!!)

Liverpool was most successful under Bill Shankly followed by Bob Paisley and Joe Fagan as Manager, till their last victory in 1990 under Kenny Dalglish.

Perhaps the most successful Liverpool side was the team under Paisley’s 9 year reign where Liverpool won 21 trophies – including 3 European Cups, 6 League Titles, a UEFA title and 3 League Cups.

So the long 18 years wait for another domestic success is understood here …

Liverpool die hard fans including me really feels that this is the best time for The Reds to once again be crowned King of England.

We cannot afford to wait another frustating 18 years or 50 years or 100 years .

If Rafael Benitez is the cause of the 18 years curse – then “fire” him for the benefits of millions of Liverpool fans around the globe.
