A VIDEO of a hysterical passenger screaming at airline staff and writhing on the floor after missing a flight to San Francisco at Hong Kong airport has become a sensational YouTube hit.

By Monday, the 3-minute clip of the furious woman had racked up close to 470,000 hits in 4 days on the video-sharing site.

The video, posted by jackal 575 recorded 465,726 views as at 5 pm Monday 16 February.

The video starts with the screaming woman running towards the departure gate and bouncing off a female security guard, after she learned that her flight is about to take off without her....!!!!!

She then started banging a desk before collapsing to the floor and rolling around, while maintaining a high-pitched wail. A man unsuccessfully tries to comfort her and get her off the floor, but the shrill screaming continues.

The footage, entitled 'A woman missed her flight at the boarding gate HKIA' appears to have been shot with a mobile phone from behind the staff desk. The woman was travelling on a Cathay Pacific flight to San Francisco on February 4, a Cathay spokesman told AFP.



Coincidently, Malaysia's opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also missed his flight to Kuala Lumpur today from Doha, Qatar.

Therefore he was unable to attend the opening of the parliament session by the Malaysian King.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 (Bernama) -- Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has not attended the opening of parliament session today as he missed his flight from Doha, Qatar, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said today.

"That is what he told me personally," Mohamed Nazri said when asked on Anwar's absence at the opening of the session by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president Mohamed Azmin Ali said the party had written official letters to the Dewan Rakyat Speaker and also to the Private Secretary to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong explaining Anwar's absence.

Mohamed Azmin said Anwar would return this afternoon.

PETALING JAYA: Outspoken Bukit Lanjan assemblyman Elizabeth Wong lodged a police report at the Damansara police station here Sunday night over nude pictures of her that have been circulating online and via MMS.

Early unconfirmed reports say that the pictures were taken without her consent.

OCPD Asst Comm Arjunaidi Mohamed confirmed a report was lodged and that police were investigating.

The pictures are believed to have been taken using a handphone, possibly before the general election last March.

On Monday morning, Wong's staff had locked the doors to her office at the state assembly building in Shah Alam.

Her special assistant Chua Yee Ling said the assemblyman was at a meeting and would be releasing an official statement on the issue on Monday afernoon.

Wong won the Bukit Lanjan seat with a majority of over 5,000, the second largest majority won by a PKR state assembly candidate in Selangor.

She was later appointed a member of the Selangor state executive council, in charge of Tourism, Consumer Affairs and the Environment. She is also the information chief of the Women’s wing of PKR and of her division Petaling Jaya Utara.

As at press time, she had not commented on the issue on her blog.

Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim urged the police to conduct a proper investigation into the matter.

He told reporters outside Parliament that the Selangor state executive council would discuss the matter during its meeting on Wednesday.

PKR president Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Ismail said she was sad about the nude pictures being circulated.

“There is a pattern of PKR assemblymen being attacked,” she said, alleging that the ruling coalition Barisan nasional has had its share of scandals too.

Pensiangan consists of 2 state seats - Nabawan and Sook, both won by Barisan Nasional candidates in the last general election in March 2008.

Pensiangan is located deep in the interior of Sabah, situated more than 200 km from Kota Kinabalu.

The parliamentary seat has more than 17,000 registered voters - mainly the Muruts communities...

Kurup contested for the first time in a Parliament seat in Pensiangan, March last year, having switched from his Sook state seat.

He won the seat uncontested after the returning officer for Pensiangan, Bubudan Mojiliu, rejected the nomination papers of 2 candidates - from PKR and an independent candidate.

He was subsequently appointed Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development.

Kurup is the president of Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah, PBRS - a Barisan Nasional component party in Sabah.

PBRS was set up by Kurup in 1994 after he left Parti Bersatu Sabah, PBS.

Apart from Kurup, PBRS presently has another assemblyman - Datuk Ellron Alfred Angin who won in the Sook state seat in the March general election.

Ellron was a former national athlete, having competed in the men 100 metres in the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi, India.

Federal Court reserves decision on Pensiangan polls

KOTA KINABALU: The Federal Court on Thursday reserved decision in an appeal by Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRs) president Tan Sri Joseph Kurup to quash the nullification of his election to the Pensiangan parliamentary seat in the March 8 general election.

Appeal Court President Tan Sri Alauddin Mohd Sheriff, who sat with Chief Justice of Malaya Datuk Arifin Zakaria and Federal Court judge Datuk Nik Hashim Abd Rahman, said the judgment would be delivered at a date yet to be fixed.

Kurup, represented by leading counsel, Mariati Robert, wanted the country's highest court to set aside the Election Court's decision declaring Pensiangan election result null and void.

Kurup won the seat unopposed on nomination day in the 12th general election after the returning officer rejected the nomination papers of Danny Anthony Andipai of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and another candidate.

He was subsequently appointed Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister.
Andipai then petitioned to the election court to nullify the election result, naming Kurup and the returning officer, Bubudan OT Majalu, as respondents.

Election judge David Wong Tak Wah, in allowing the petition on Sept 8 last year, ruled that the wrongful rejection of the nomination papers had breached Andipai's constitutional right to take part in the election and the written law relating to the conduct of the election.

In his 36-page judgment, Wong said the decision of the deputy director of the Sabah Election Commission to accept Andipai's nomination papers was final and could not be overruled by the returning officer, Bubudan OT Majalu, under the pretext that there was an objection during the objection period.

The deputy director was exercising a power provided for by law in making the decision and Bubudan's decision to uphold the objection was a wrong decision, he ruled.

Senior federal counsel Firoz Hussein Ahmad Jamaluddin, in his submission Thursday, said the election judge had failed to observe that Andipai did not comply with any election law when arguing on Section 32B of the Election Offences Act.

He said it was stipulated that nomination papers should be submitted between 9am and 10am but Andipai submitted his papers at 10.25am, which was beyond the stipulated time. - Bernama

Numerous news reports from the kingdom, have shocked the world - because victims of sexual assaults were sentenced to jail and lashes, instead.

"Being in the company of an unrelated male or males" were the basis to justify the punishments handed down by judges to the victims.

Among the most infamous case involved a controversial Saudi court ruling in Nov 2007:

In a shocking verdict, a Saudi Court has ordered a gang rape victim to undergo 200 lashes and six months in prison for "being in the car of an unrelated male" when the crime was committed.

The 19-year-old victim was initially ordered to undergo 90 lashes by judges from the Qatif General Court, but the case was referred back to an Appeals Court after her lawyer had urged a harsher punishment for assaulters, the Arab News reported.

In its verdict, the court, which punished the victim for "being in the car of an unrelated male at the time of the rape", also suspended her lawyer.

The seven rapists, whose previous sentences ranged from 10 months to five years in prison, also had their prison terms increased to between two and nine years. The verdict came in as a shock to everybody.

A source at the Qatif General Court said the judges had informed the rape victim that the reason behind doubling her punishment was "her attempt to aggravate and influence the judiciary through the media", the report added.

Saudi Arabia enforces a strict Islamic doctrine known as Wahhabism and forbids unrelated men and women from associating with each other, bans women from driving and forces them to cover head-to-toe in public.

However, The Saudi government recently has taken some steps toward bettering the situation of women in the kingdom, including the establishment earlier this year of special courts to handle domestic abuse cases, adoption of a new labor law that addresses working women's rights, and creation of a human rights commission.

Riyadh – Two men have been executed in Riyadh for kidnapping and rape in Riyadh on Friday, the Saudi Ministry of Interior said in a statement.

Abdurrahman Bin Saeed Bin Ramadan Al-Zahrani and Abdurrahman Bin Qasim Bin Hussain Al-Fifi, both saudi nationals, were beheaded.

Zahrani had been convicted of kidnapping a 20-year-old girl and raping her.

Fifi was convicted of being an accomplice to the double crime.Taking advantage of being military men, the two had pulled over an expatriate motorist who was with his daughter.

The first took the girl away and raped her, while the second held the expatriate.

The two criminals made advantage of their positions as soldiers with the Ministry of Defense and Aviation, using their military status to stop the expatriate’s car in a desert area and kidnapping and raping the girl.

The two were arrested and sentenced to death.

They were executed in Riyadh after having been convicted by the court for their crimes, said the statement.

The Cassation Court and the Supreme Judicial Council, as well as Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, approved the court’s verdicts.

The statement confirmed the determination of the Saudi government on ensuring law and order and severely punishing the criminals.

Golda Meir (1898 – 1978) was Israel’s 4th Prime Minister and the 1st. female to ever hold that position.

Meir served as Israel's foreign minister from 1956 to 1966 before her appointment as Israel’s fourth prime minister in 1969 until 1974 when she was replaced by Yitzhak Rabin.

She was the leader of Israel’s Labour party and described as the Iron Lady in Israel politics and was once called “the best man in the government” by Israel first PM David Ben-Gurion.

Meir died in 1978 at the age of 80 years.

Livni, 50, married with 2 children, is the leader of Kadima party and is currently Israel’s Foreign Minister.

She served as a Lieutenant in the IDF, Israel Defence Forces and was a former spy having worked for the elite Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations or Mossad for 2 years in the early 1980s.

Livni, is presently contesting in an election to choose the new Prime Minister of Israel.

Just a moment ago, she declared herself victory over Likud party presidential candidate, Benjamin Netanyahu.

With 99 % votes counted, Livni's Kadima leads Netanyahu's Likud with 28 seats against 27 seats.

Livni during her presidential campaign pledged for a more peaceful Israel-Palestine relationship, an effort lauded by US President Barack Obama.

She also reportedly offered more lands to the Palestinians.

But one wonders what Hamas and Fatah have in their mind of the new government in Tel Aviv.

China's CCTV - TV station on the news...!!!

TV stations normally cover news events.

But instead China’s Central TV station or CCTV caused the news.

CCTV, China's largest TV station was blamed for causing one of the biggest fire ever seen in Beijing, last monday.

No doubt, it was big breaking news!!!

It all started when a staff of the TV station hired a fireworks company for a fireworks show outside CCTV iconic new headquarters in Beijing.

But the show went awfully wrong – it caused a huge fire and destroyed a nearby building, the nearly completed Mandarin Oriental Hotel which is part of the iconic CCTV tower complex.

As a result, the 241 rooms, 30 storeys and 159 metres high Mandarin Oriental Hotel is now history.

A firefighter was reportedly killed while fighting the blaze.

Luckily the there were no guests at the Mandarin Oriental as the hotel was not yet opened.

CCTV apologizes for great loss caused by lethal blaze

BEIJING -- China Central Television (CCTV) on Tuesday apologized for a massive fire that engulfed part of its new headquarters in the eastern central business district of the capital.

The fire broke out on Monday evening, and one firefighter was killed tackling the blaze and seven other people were injured.

In a statement on its website www.cctv.com, the broadcaster said it "feels sorrowful for the great loss that the fire inflicted on national assets. CCTV sincerely apologizes for the traffic congestion and inconvenience that affect residents nearby."

"CCTV will do everything possible to cooperate with relevant departments in dealing with aftermath of the fire," the statement said.

Beijing Fire Control Bureau has confirmed that a senior official of the office of the CCTV new headquarters construction project hired people, without any reference to superiors, to illegally set off fireworks, which caused the fire, according to the statement.

The fireworks company ignited several hundred large festive firecrackers in an open space outside one of its nearly-completed buildings, said Luo Yuan, spokesman and deputy chief of Beijing Fire Control Bureau.

4 camcorders recorded the fireworks display and the entire ignition process.

The people who ignited the fireworks are being questioned by police and remains of fireworks have been seized.

The 30-storey building, about 200 meters from the iconic CCTV main tower, houses the luxury Mandarin Oriental Hotel, a television studio and an electronic data processing center.

The CCTV tower and the Mandarin Oriental hotel were designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas.

The CCTV tower was listed as one of the wonders of Chinese architecture by U.S.-based Business Week magazine and viewed as the most radical structure in the country.

The new CCTV headquarters, at a height of 230 meter and a floor area of about 400,000 square meters, combines administration with news, broadcasting, studios and program production - the entire process of TV making - in a sequence of interconnected activities.

Although the building is 230 meter tall it is not a traditional tower, but a continuous loop of horizontal and vertical sections that establish an urban site rather than point to the sky.

The irregular grid on the building's facades is an expression of the forces traveling throughout its structure.

The second building, the 115,000 m2 Television Cultural Center (TVCC) includes a hotel, a visitor's center, a large public theatre and exhibition spaces.

It is visible from the main intersection of the Central Business District through the "window" of the CCTV headquarters.

The 241-rooms Mandarin Oriental, fully furnished with luxury facilities, was intended to be Mandarin Oriental's flagship property in China.

The building was used during the Olympic Games, but the companies moved out afterwards," said a CCTV staff member surnamed Chen, adding that he didn't know whether there were still people in the building.

Firefighting was hampered by height of the building, as water from the hoses could at most reach 40 meters high.

Beijing is dry during the season, as the city has not seen any rainfall in 106 days.

Witnesses said that the flame was about 80 meters at one time.

Snow-like ashes fell as far as 1 km from the building and smoke eclipsed the full moon.

Pada pilihanraya Mac tahun lalu itu, Tan Sri Kurup yang juga Presiden Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah, PBRS diistyharkan menang tanpa bertanding setelah kertas pencalonan 2 pencabarnya – 1 daripada PKR dan seorang lagi calon Bebas, ditolak pegawai pengurus pilihanraya Pensiangan, Bubudan Mojiliu, atas alasan lewat dikemukakan.

Namun Mahkamah Tinggi Kota Kinabalu memutuskan pegawai pengurus pilihanraya Pensiangan tidak boleh mengetepikan perintah SPR supaya kertas pencalonan calon PKR dan Bebas itu diterima.

Mahkamah Persekutuan dijadualkan bersidang di Kota Kinabalu selama 2 hari pada 12 dan 13 Februari ini untuk mendengar rayuan Kurup berhubung pembatalan kemenangannya itu.

Sekiranya rayuan Kurup ditolak, maka wujud 3 kekosongan kerusi – 2 Parlimen dan 1 DUN iaitu Pensiangan, Bukit Gantang dan Bukit Selambau.

Persoalannya adakah SPR, Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya akan memilih untuk mengadakan 3 pilihanraya kecil itu secara serentak???

Kenyataannya yang mahu memfailkan saman ke atas Sultan Perak berhubung isu peralihan kuasa di negeri itu, menyebabkan ramai pihak membuat bantahan.

Bantahan ke atas Pengerusi DAP itu dilakukan menerusi siri demonstrasi aman di seluruh negara serta laporan polis yang dibuat pelbagai pihak.

Namun Ahad lalu, Karpal sekali lagi membuat kejutan apabila berkata Anwar Ibrahim tidak layak memimpin Pakatan Rakyat.

Karpal mungkin satu satunya pemimpin kanan pembangkang yang pernah meluahkan kenyataan seumpamanya kepada rakan pembangkang lain...

Apapun, tindakan Karpal menempelak Anwar itu turut menimbulkan rasa kurang senang di kalangan pemimpin pembangkang itu sendiri.

Ini bermakna, pada masa ini, Karpal dihentam kawan dan lawan.

Namun hanya Karpal Singh yang mengetahui mengapa dia mengeluarkan 2 kenyataan itu.

Karpal, 69 tahun juga dikenali sebagai Harimau Jelutong adalah pemimpin politik veteran dan juga antara Peguambela paling dikenali di Malaysia.

Antara kes mahkamah menarik pernah dikendalikannya – menjadi peguam bela kepada 2 rakyat Australia – Kevin Barlow dan Brian Chambers yang dituduh mengedar 141.9 gram heroin di Lapangan Terbang Bayan Lepas Pulau Pinang pada 9 November 1983.

Barlow dan Chambers akhirnya didapati bersalah dah menjalani hukuman gantung sampai mati di Penjara Pudu pada 7 Julai 1986.

Mereka warganegara kulit putih pertama di hukum gantung di Malaysia mengikut akta dadah yang memperkenalkan undang undang baru lebih berat iaitu hukuman mati jika mengedar lebih 15 gram dadah.

Kes Barlow dan Chambers juga menyebabkan hubungan diplomatik Malaysia dan Australia tercalar seketika apabila Perdana Menteri Australia ketika itu, Bob Hawke menyifatkan tindakan hukuman gantung ke atas Barlow dan Chambers sebagai “barbaric” atau tidak berperikemanusiaan.

Kes itu juga pernah mencetuskan seketika, sentimen anti Australia di Malaysia.

Nearly 7 years ago, he was on top of the world, having guided Brazil to a record 5th. World Cup Title, by beating Germany 2 – 0 at the 2002 World Cup Final in Yokohama, Japan.

But it was not smooth sailing all the way for Luiz Felipe Scolari.

The 60 year old Brazilian coach was dismissed by Chelsea today after just 7 months in the Stamford Bridge hot- seat.

Scolari paid the price for a season in which Chelsea have dropped 16 home points, were bundled out of the Carling Cup by championship side Burnley and slipped to 4th in the Barclays English Premier League.

His last match as Chelsea coach was a goalless against Hull, last Saturday.

Despite boasting among the biggest names and best players in world football - Didier Drogba, Nikolas Anelka, Frank Lampard, John Terry and Michael Ballack, Scolari seemed unable to get the best out of his squad.

Scolari is the 3rd coach to be dismissed by Chelsea in a space of less than 2 years after Jose Mourino and Avram Grant.

Mourinho who left in 2007 was the most successful manager in Chelsea's history having won 5 trophies for the club in 3 years including 2 English Premier Leauge titles in 2005 and 2006.


Under his guidance, Chelsea was also undefeated in all home league games.


Mourinho moved to Inter Milan last year and won the Italian Super Cup recently.

Former Italy striker Gianfranco Zola is one of the favourites as the new coach / manager at Chelsea.

Josef Fritzl - The worst rapist in the world sentenced to life in mental hospital and he plans to sell his horror house too!!

Josef Fritzl, 73 will spend the rest of his life in a top-security psychiatric hospital for murdering a baby boy he fathered during the 24 years he kept his daughter Elisabeth locked up in a cellar.

The murder charge related to Michael Fritzl, one of seven children Fritzl fathered by his daughter Elisabeth as he raped her more than 3,000 times.

The boy, one of twins, died in April 1996, just 66 hours after he was born. He developed breathing difficulties but Fritzl refused to seek medical help, making him guilty of "homicide by neglect".

Fritzl, 73, was jailed for life after a jury in St Poelten, Austria, unanimously found him guilty of murder at the end of a four-day trial at which he had already admitted incest, rape, false imprisonment and coercion.

The jury also convicted Fritzl of slavery – making him the first man to be convicted of the offence in Austria.

He had changed his not guilty plea to the murder and slavery charges on Wednesday, having previously denied them, but the local judicial system dictated that the jury still had to return a formal verdict.

Earlier, Fritzl had apologised "from the bottom of my heart" for the horrific torture he meted out to Elisabeth.

He claimed he wished he could "make amends" for his appalling crimes.

His lawyer, Rudolf Mayer, told the court that Fritzl's earlier decision to change his plea to guilty had come after he saw Elisabeth in court on Tuesday.

Josef Fritzl, 73 is known as the worst rapist in Austria , if not Europe and the craziest the world has ever seen.

Earlier reports indicated that Fritzl, better known as the Austrian Incest Beast planed to sell the house of horror where he commited the shocking crime of the century against his daughter, Elisabeth for 24 years.

In prison, he can still become a millionaire because sick buyers wanted to turn the house in Amstatten into a museum.

The current price of the house is 400,000 Pounds.

However neighbours fear buyers are willing to pay up to 3 times the value of the place where Fritzl imprisoned and raped Elisabeth for 24 years, fathering 7 children.

Elisabeth then 18 was lured by his father into the dungeon basement on 28 August 1984 and only tasted freedom on 26 April 2008, after a long and sad 24 years…

During that horrendous time, Elisabeth never saw sunlight and 3 of her children were imprisoned with her.

Fritzl has been diagnosed as having severe combined personality disorder and a sexual disorder.

His psychiatrist, Adelheid Kastner, recommended that Fritzl receive psychiatric care for the rest of his life.

But under Austrian law, he is free to sell the house for an inflated price.

The house is expected to be put on sale after his trial.

Well some people think they could turn the house into a money spinner if they could get permission to open it to the public.

But as for me, I do hope a Tomahawk Missile is fired straight at Fritzl home…!!!

Michael Phelps suspended 3 months over dope picture

August last year, he created history by winning 8 gold medals – all in world record times in a single Olympics…

Michael Phelps near impossible and logic defying feat earned him not only megastar status but also the tagline as the best swimmer in the world.

Phelps Beijing Olympics gold medals haul surpassed Mark Spitz legendary 7 gold medals and 7 world records in the 1972 Olympics in Munich.

His total 14 gold medals from 2 Olympics, can never be broken again unless Patrick Duffy (The Man from Atlantis) or Darryl Hannah (The Mermaid) decides to compete in the 2012 London Olympics…

For his world record exploits, Phelps is supposed to be the icon, a role model for millions of youths all over the world.

Instead, a photo of him inhaling from the type of glass pipe used to smoke cannabis, surfaced from out of nowhere…….

Worse still, the picture was published exclusively in the News of the World.

I don’t know the price News of the World paid to the person who leaked that picture.

Well the price Phelps has to pay – a 3 month suspension from swimming competition by USA swimming as well as withdrawal of financial support, following the publication of this infamous picture apparently showing the Olympic champion using illegal drugs.

The USA swimming statement read:

"USA Swimming has reprimanded Michael Phelps under its Code of Conduct by withdrawing financial support and the eligibility to compete for a period of three months effective today, February 5, 2009.

"This is not a situation where any anti-doping rule was violated, but we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero.

"Michael has voluntarily accepted this reprimand and has committed to earn back our trust."

Phelps's sponsor Kellogg has also said it would not renew their contract with the swimmer when it expires at the end of the month.

Phelps' suspension runs out in early May meaning he will be eligible for the World Championship trials in July if he decides to defend the seven titles he won in Melbourne in 2007.

If he smoke marijuana – how come he can swim so fast???????

Well, Phelps struck another blow to the myth that marijuana smokers are lazy couch potatoes.

Here is the guy who has won more gold medals than anyone in history, and obviously his health and accomplishments are not hindered by smoking some pot.

In addition to his swimming skills, he is a successful businessman who has turned his swimming skills into an enormous public relations platform and money generator.

Successful and honorable people who have smoked some pot are all around us, and does it include President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg???

Another question here Does it Hurt or Help His Image?

While some "experts" are predicting that Phelps bong hits could cost him millions, we could also see it as humanizing him and making him even more popular with a large section of the public.

With half of high school seniors having tried marijuana before they graduate, it is not clear that this photo is going to disillusion his fan base.

Sejak 11 bulan lalu hingga semalam dia masih Menteri Besar Perak – sekaligus menjadi orang paling berkuasa di Perak.

Hari ini, dia kehilangan kuasa setelah Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, 47 tahun dari BN dilantik Menteri Besar Perak yang baru dan mengangkat sumpah di hadapan Sultan Perak di Istana Iskandariah.

Mohamad Nizar pula diarah mengosongkan pejabat Menteri Besar di bangunan secretariat setelah hanya 11 bulan menjadi Menteri Besar Perak.

Perubahan daripada seorang yang berkuasa kepada tidak berkuasa dalam masa hanya sekelip mata, sudah banyak kali disaksikan di negara ini.

Sejurus selepas pilihanraya umum ke 12, Mac tahun lalu, Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo pernah merasai situasi sama selepas BN tewas di Selangor, sekaligus jawatan Menteri Besar Selangor diambil alih Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

Di Pulau Pinang, Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon kehilangan kuasa sebagai Ketua Menteri dan diambil alih Lim Guan Eng.

Begitu juga Datuk Seri Mahadzir Khalid yang melepaskan jawatan MB Kedah kepada Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak.

Di Sabah, Datuk Harris Mohd Salleh kehilangan kuasa sebagai Ketua Menteri kepada Datuk Seri Joseph Pairin Kitingan selepas 9 tahun menjawat potfolio itu apabila parti Berjaya tewas mengejut kepada PBS pada pilihanraya DUN negeri 1985.

9 tahun kemudian, Datuk Seri Pairin pula kehilangan kuasa sebagai Ketua Menteri Sabah apabila sebahagian besar ADUN PBS bertindak melompat parti ekoran kemenangan tipis parti itu dalam pilihanraya DUN Sabah 1994.

Datuk Seri Pairin digantikan Tun Sakaran Dandai.

Begitu juga Datuk Tajol Rosli Ghazali yang terpaksa melepaskan jawatan MB Perak kepada Mohamad Nizar, Mac tahun lalu.

Situasi semasa politik Perak kali ini menyaksikan jawatan MB Perak bersilih ganti antara 3 individu dan 2 kerajaan dalam masa 11 bulan.

Bermula Tajol Rosli, diikuti Mohammad Nizar dan kini Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.

Apapun, bilangan Ketua Menteri terbanyak dalam masa singkat hanya dapat disaksikan di Sabah menerusi sistem penggiliran Ketua Menteri Sabah.

Dalam tempoh 9 tahun dari 1994 hingga 2003, terdapat 8 Ketua Menteri silih berganti di Sabah.

Atau nisbahnya 1 Ketua Menteri bagi setiap tahun….!!!!!!!

Bermula dengan Datuk Pairin, diikuti Tun Sakaran, Datuk Salleh Tun Said Keruak, Datuk Yong Teck Lee, Tan Sri Bernard Dompok, Datuk Osu Sukam, Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat dan Ketua Menteri sekarang – Datuk Seri Musa Hj. Aman.

Mengikut sistem penggiliran Ketua Menteri Sabah, jawatan Ketua Menteri digilirkan mengikut kuota antara 3 kaum utama (Bumiputra Islam, Bumiputra Bukan Islam dan Cina) di Sabah setiap 2 tahun.

Namun tidak semua Ketua Menteri menamatkan tempoh 2 tahun.

Hanya Datuk Yong Teck Lee (kuota masyarakat Cina) , Datuk Osu Sukam (kuota Bumiputra Islam) dan Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat (kuota masyarakat Cina) memegang potfolio itu sepenuhnya selama 2 tahun.

Manakala Tun Sakaran (kuota Bumiputra Islam) melepaskan jawatan Ketua Menteri selepas hanya setahun memegang jawatan itu kerana dilantik Yang Di Pertua Negeri Sabah.

Pengganti Tun Sakaran sebagai Ketua Menteri di bawah kuota itu – Datuk Salleh Tun Said Keruak oleh itu hanya mempunyai masa setahun sahaja untuk menjadi Ketua Menteri.

Tan Sri Bernad Dompok (kuota Bumiputra bukan Islam) pula hanya sempat memegang jawatan keramat itu selama 10 bulan sahaja setelah tewas di DUN Moyog dalam pilihanraya DUN Sabah 1999.

Sistem penggiliran Ketua Menteri Sabah ditamatkan sejak Datuk Seri Musa Aman memegang jawatan itu pada 2003 sehinggalah sekarang.
