Respected celebrity blog website, Perez Hilton released a world exclusive photo of Canadian superstar, Avril Lavigne, injured in the face.
She was reportedly caught in a bar brawl in a Hotel. The multi million album selling albums singer is injured but not in worrying situation.
"I got attacked by 5 people … out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f---ed," she told fans in a Twitter post.
The singer described how she suffered a "black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer."
Details of what caused the fight are scarce, but reports said Lavigne, 27, was partying at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles with boyfriend Brody Jenner when the skirmish broke out in the wee hours of Sunday morning, 6th November 2011.
Jenner - whose step-sister Kim Kardashian made headlines of her own in recent days when she filed for divorce 72 days after marrying basketball star Kris Humphries - was hit on the head with a bottle when he intervened to break up the clash.
Cops arrived and took a statement from Jenner, 28, who was listed on a police report as the victim of assault with a deadly weapon, the celebrity website reported.
Lavigne left the scene before police arrived, sources said. Jenner reportedly refused medical attention and took himself to a hospital.
No arrests were made.
